  1. Still not certain, but I've got 3 months, so I'd better claim "N.H.C." now while I'm still nuts.
  2. Oh, that's what happened; I might actually have been late by maybe a few seconds if it weren't for that (takes time to render, encode and upload). Check out "Wildermess," folks.
  3. One step closer; I'll be expecting new sorenesses the next four quarters. Thank you kindly, folks.
  4. Only Larry knows what I'm up to at the moment, so the art will wait for a bit. However, I've been on a mission similar to what the OP is talking about, because I've already seen too many guesses referenced as facts, especially on Youtube, and even "quasi-official" titles would be no good to me without something resembling an accepted standard. Stay tuned.
  5. OP's either in the proper time zone, or jumping an enormous gun. I'll wait another 90 minutes.
  6. I've already told Wes I wanted to smack him for starting a new project before the last one was even done. But I've realized a while ago the reason for so many projects is the same reason people submit songs by the millions to OCR: we all wanna piece of the action in this awesome community. I already gave up waiting for any lulls in activity before introducing my own project, so be ready for it soon. Anyway, I'm a fan of a lot of the NiGHTS music, but I'm not ready to commit yet. We'll see: the near future, if it's available, I'd love to be able to claim "Gloom of the N.H.C."
  7. And mine. Maybe I should've said, "I'm in until it looks like I can't be."
  8. I have an idea for the Special Stage, and I'll try to see if it's feasible as soon as possible. I'll be damned if I miss a third Sonic thing.
  9. If anyone at the BBQ's reading, sorry I couldn't make it. Same problem I had the whole weekend: no phone and no contacts. At least I learned Cali Tort has their own free hotspot. And now to kill a couple of hours until my bus shows up. I still had more than enough fun. More to say in the morning.
  10. Last year was very quick, maybe no more than a half-hour as I recall. The site says pick-up starts at 5PM; I should be there on the dot.
  11. A sig is no problem. I'll come after I pick up my badge Thursday. PM details. Still have no phone at the moment; I'll keep in touch best I can. I appreciate the help.
  12. Last try, and then my time's up. a.) Anyone with a room close to the con who can accomodate me starting Thursday? or b.) Barring that, when I book a room, anyone/-two/-three wanna come with and split the cost?
  13. It's getting late, and I better mention. 1.) I am a definite, so add if you like. 2.) What's everyone's room situation, quickly? I can't tell yet if it's necessary for me to plunk for my own room and have three folks join me.
  14. What kills my budget is the trip home. Either I pay through the nose for a quick ride or I pay through the nose and sit in the depot overnight. It's difficult to do this sort of thing anymore without staying somewhere. You guessed it: I don't drive. Then again, this may be limited to Baltimore. However, in this case, the reason against is much simpler: I work on Friday. Have fun.
  15. No time like the present... This is one of my hell-with-it projects from a while ago: I took all the BGM variations from the Genesis Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (.wav rips of chiptune files, to be more accurate) and combined them into full-length renditions that are as close as possible to the original arrangements. Geekdom! Another Part of Me Bad Beat It Billie Jean Smooth Criminal
  16. Before I make final plans and get bus tickets, anyone know about how long the show runs?
  17. I got variations coming, soon as I finish some sketches. Along the lines of a darker url outline, more off-center elements, etc.
  18. My challenge is unfamiliar as well, but that's my fault for barely playing my copy of the game. I think I can make it work, though, so, accepted.
  19. Since I've got a minute, I'll offer two interesting similarities I discovered a while ago. ------------------------------------------ Sonic Adventure 2 - Fly in the Freedom [Theme of Rouge] - 2001; brass arrangement, 3:31-fadeout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICnW8aEAX4w Brand New Heavies - Dream On Dreamer - 1994; brass arrangement, 2:05-2:26 and 2:46-fadeout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrH6dUGHiTg ------------------------------------------ Sonic Adventure - Limestone Cave [icecap] - 1999 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zT4N2bczvtg&feature=channel_page Swing Out Sister - Icy Cold as Winter - 1997
  20. You all can include me as well. Let's work out some seats. As always, I appreciate any overnight accommodation to avoid having to make my way back home that night.
