  1. This. I hadn't realized the release date had crept so close without me noticing. It was probably for the best, though, because now I can't stop thinking about wanting it NOW.
  2. Your teeth will be the first to go, I suspect. Yeah, when he showed this to me I was like "dear lord, you HAVE to share this with OCR, it's too cute to keep from them!" And it is.
  3. My home connection sucks. I can't get a stable connection for more than two minutes. I can't play online.
  4. My install failed the first time, and now the severs have been too busy for the last few hours, so I haven't had a chance to retry.
  5. Apparently it has its own Wikipedia page. That's... yeah. It's up to version 6.67c. I used to play a mean Prophet back in the day. I think I annoyed the hell out of many people I played against because I was quite good at predicting where they would go and thus use the Sprout spell to either trap them or immediately convert those trees to Treants for a quick kill. I don't know how effective that strategy would be these days, though. I don't have my WCIII discs with me, as I'm visiting my family right now, but if you guys want to play some DotA, I'll probably be up for joining in on it once I get back.
  6. DotA... it's been ages since I last played that. I think it was around when version 2.0 came out. How much has it changed since then?
  7. Confirmed on all counts of them being OCR material. A couple don't explicitly say that they made them, but they don't credit the true authors, either, so... yeah. I don't have a Newgrounds account, so someone else can take up the task of exposing these people. (Also, it's amusing that some of them don't even change the name of the track, making them very easy to find!)
  8. Strawberry Lemonaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaade! Also, is it just me, or do I look like a blind man in the second photo? Seriously, that's the impression I get from it, especially since you caught me when I was not directly facing the camera at that second.
  9. I haven't seen any effective use of the Runes yet, but some people are having fun with the balloons, that's for sure.
  10. Aaaaand I've gotten through the rest of my trip. Between yesterday's festivities and today's travel... exhausted. But so worth it. Many thanks to everyone who made it and made it a great time, and to djp for the BBQ hosting awesomeness. It was awesome meeting everyone for the first time! Hopefully I'll be able to join in on future meetups. 5 stars, would go again.
  11. I'm Hspirit. I usually play on the second English server.
  12. Man, I'm just hoping I don't get stuck in traffic. It's hard to judge exactly when you're gonna get somewhere when the drive is so long. I don't want to miss the welcoming party, as it were, and then not be able to find you guys in the park.
  13. Does anyone know what the parking is like around that area? And where we can park, specifically? I'm driving up there that morning, and I don't want to have to hunt down parking spots after driving for 5 hours...
  14. I know this is a tad late, but the July 2010 Freeform Competition has begun! Let's see some entries!
  15. Cricket? Nobody understands cricket. You gotta know what a crumpet is to understand cricket!
  16. First England's denied goal, and now Argentina's clearly offside goal. Way to go, refs. Way to go. Seriously, why aren't there goal-line refs? These types of situations are exactly why they're needed!
  17. W7 is essentially Vista+. If it works on Vista and not on W7, I'd be flabbergasted.
  18. Thanks for the tips. I'll keep an eye on the site. Hopefully I'll have better luck the next time it rolls around.
  19. I was waiting for a sale to happen for those two, and then I missed it by about an hour or so. Is there a predictable timetable as to when they might go on sale again?
  20. YouTube: Now With Instant Vuvuzela Sound! Any video on YouTube using the new player can instantly have the vuvuzela added to the sound with a single click of a button! All our dreams have come true!
  21. THE RESULTS ARE IN! The winners of the May 2010 Poetry Competition are: 1st Place: The Course Unreal by ZeaLitY Runner-Up: Knitting Time by Nintendude794 Here's the point distribution: The Course Unreal by ZeaLitY - 5 Knitting Time by Nintendude794 - 4 The Armageddon Can by Mirby - 3 Congratulations to the winners! I wish we had a larger pool of votes to go by (and a larger pool of submissions, of course), but the round went well regardless. The July 2010 Freeform Competition starts in nine days! Remember, practically any sort of writing is allowed for the freeform rounds, so feel free to experiment or submit things you wouldn't otherwise submit! Let your creative juices flow!
