  1. Yeh good show, even though your mind and mouth weren't as coordinated as usual.. Heh.. I'll let you know my personal picks for the double d.. Might be done my newest mix (lava reef) by then.. Hmm..
  2. Hey no prob d00d.. Actually, heres another slightly less retarted bumper I did.. http://www.rayza.net/rayza-bumper02.mp3
  3. My bumper. Poking fun (at myself kinda). NO the original voice wasn't me, but this is.. http://www.rayza.net/rayza-bumper01.mp3
  4. Yeh where are you gonna put the playlist? Here? Anywhere?
  5. Great mix and all, but some parts are a little treblely.. Well whatever, sweet stuff here. Nice job Double to the D..
  6. If anyone's interested in the reason resource file I've posted some info in this thread: http://remix.overclocked.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16841 It will work in Reason 2.0 and 2.5.. BTW, this is supposed to sound like mid-90's eurodance in case anyone couldn't figure that out from the filename..
  7. It was just a lead I made up in Reason, nothing fancy.. A lot of my stuff is inspired by the euro-demo tracking scene from the mid 90's.. Guys like Elwood especially have influenced the way I write stuff..
  8. Not sure how much club type stuff you guys listen to, but this is a very good commercial-type trancey song.. The bass is on key and the voice is fine despite what people are saying about off key, sounds perfect to me.. Maybe I'm just used to this kind of sound a little more or something.. Very well done stuff..
  9. I couldn't find the composer of this song so I assumed it was Yuzo, sorry Joe.. Also, before anyone calls me a hack or a cheat, I know the opening trance synths sound VERY similar to a certain Rank 1 tune. I had repeated listening of said tune a few years ago when it was big and it stuck in my head all this time I guess. When I went to write this song, I subconciously wrote bascially the same line that was in the other tune. Even when I played it back I was thinking, "This seems familiar" but I couldn't put my finger on it. When I posted it to the WIP forum some others were quick to inform me where it was from and it all came back to me. In other words, I didn't mean to or know I was borrowing notes from other songs until afterwards. Hopefully I don't get shot for this.
  10. Yeh thats a pretty sick bassline you have going there, very cool.. And the little synthy that goes on top is sweet.. I agree with DJP tho, the left pan thing is odd but just takes a while to get used to, I'll have to hear it without headphones.. Nicely done, well produced work..
  11. Love the part at :12, gets this f**ker right good underway.. Breaks are cool with some delay goin on, and the piano right after is well done.. Theres stuff to pick at but theres no bother, this is a fun and cool sounding mix full of happy energy and lots of ideas.. Good job..
  12. Being a big Kraftwerk fan, this put a huge smile on my face.. Very very well done, you even sound like them.. Haha.. Wow.. All the sounds are pretty much flawless, great stuff..
  13. Hey man, great stuff here.. I liked the toned down sound of Wizardry a little more but this is really nice.. Excellent mixing and sound use.. Maybe I'll email you again for some more advice soon..
  14. That scream is from the game.. I dunno, i try to incorporate a little bit of the game into my mixes.. it was one of the voices that didn't distort horribly.. And the ending, yeh I know, lazy as hell i suppose.. maybe next time..
  15. Its pretty good musically and such.. But I can pick out quite a few default Fruity sounds without much difficulty. Although it's hard to come up with new samples/instruments/whathaveyou it just makes things that much more uninteresting when you hear those sounds all over again.. Well done musically and mixed, try a little harder on the sounds next time..
  16. Thanks all for the comments. I don't think I've had this many reviews on any of my songs. I thought a lot about how I'd do this mix and how I wanted it to turn out but its always a different end product. I like it, and I'm glad you all do too. Thanks again. The sound byte was done by using Total Recorder and recording a minute or two of the demo when there was (luckily) no music playing, then just cut it out to a little clip.
  17. Honestly i've never heard this Cannon piece.. Just did whatever seemed nice.. I'll have to listen to is tho to hear the similarities.. Maybe i'm his brainchild or something..
  18. Personally, I didn't think it was that great.. Maybe I was expecting something amazing after reading Pretz drool over it.. Ah well.. Heh..
