  1. Actually, in the "official" reviews, people said we spend too many time building our vehicles... I agree. But in a positive way, because there is so many elements that the only limit to the creation is our imagination. And about platforming, I must say we still have to jump, walk on ropes, climb, etc... Sure our two little friends have lost their abilities, but they can indeed use "context sensitive" homemade vehicles in order to fix that. (you can change of vehicle when you want, you just have to pause the game !) Music regroups all the tunes we knew in N64 episodes, used together in the same tracks, and there are new ones of course, with instruments changing according to the place you are (I don't say the hour of the day because the track is different there) Now I keep on playing the game, and if I change my mind about something, I'll let you know... (P.S. : I got the OST (found a link of direct download), if you're interested ^^, I don't know if I can write it here)
  2. ... Cleared the demo... 3-6, funny thing : I didn't use the arrow, only the 2 attract controls... How ? Well... answer ---> Splitting the flow in exactly two parts, one attract in the upper left (inside red filter if I remember well) and the other in the lower right.
  3. Just got my copy of Banjo, and played during 6 hours... I think... I love this game. Before getting some aerial stuff, I was building a "stairs"mobile in order to reach some notes. And when I've thought about creating that stuff, I've realized how awesome is that game. The game in HD is really beautiful, and the "Danny Elfman's like " music is still amazing ! (the remake of Tresaure Trove Cove from Banjo 1 is really something !!!) Thanks people, I've followed your feelings, and I'm not disappointed at all
  4. Do you believe we'll get one day Seiken Densetsu 3 on DS ? "World of Mana" (games project) has disappointed me a lot... But why don't they do a remake of this game ? Is there any license or copyright stuff behinf that ? I don't get it.
  5. Ha ha! Anyway, because of this same Arek's post, I've made too much advertising to my friend Douly (useless advertising I believe) Went to gamespot to see the review : lots of new stuff, it's really better than what they did for the Final Fantasy remakes ! So I've order it ! (with Castlevania, hard to get on my small island)
  6. Ok... Being fan for maybe 20 years I had to post ^^ So... Besides the Touhou Universe I can't leave, I've been playing ALL Gradius/Parodius series on a lot of consoles, R-Type (+ 2+3+Leo+Delta+Final)since the first one in arcade and a version on my dead Amstrad CPC 6128... G-Darius with the 3D mechanic fishes and other sea creatures is really awesome. I love Ikaruga, Radiant Silvergun was good too. Star Fox, aaaah Wonderful Star Fox... The 64 was good too ! 1942, 1943... I've played them when they appeared ! Pop'n Twinbee... Too many colours, it was tiring. Carrier Airwing, UN Squadron, good games too. DoDonPachi, In The Hunt, Image Fight 1&2, Alpha Mission 2, Last Resort : good and HARD >_< About hard games, Raiden is a really challenge, I loved the 2nd game for the new laser ^^ But I'm really disappointed by Raiden 3, really copypasta from the old ones imo. Sigh, I shouldn't read topics like this, I have to hear Touhou music and look at my loved screenshots of the acid pool level in Gradius V <3 Have a good time people and may the shmup live forever ! Oh, and sorry for the ones I've forgotten, there is so much ! (EDIT : Zaxxon, View Point, Sigma 7 are (3D) isometric shmups, I didn't like them a lot because of the view.)
  7. Hi guys... I'd like to know more about this banjo... Like many people, I loved Banjo-Kazzoie & Tooie (even if I prefer the first one, more replay value imo). But they were plateform games ! We had to run, jump, avoid enemies, etc... etc... And all I believe to see in the new game is "races". Races with vehicle (on land, water and in air). Do we have only to challenge racers to get the puzzle pieces ? Of course we can upgrade/change vehicle parts but... Is all the game like that ? Can't we explore ? Is there any puzzles we have to find exploring this new world ? Or races are all the stuff... I'd like to understand what remains of... Banjo !
  8. Banjo =D I think I'll listen to your remixes ^^
  9. A Villain ? I've just watched this... So I'l like to answer HIM for today. He can destroy... internet.
  10. Lol when I saw 404 (about this page) I thought it was an error...
  11. How many percent it was, already ? 201.6 %, something like that, if I remember well...
  12. Indeed, this is a speed run I lol'd Mmm, maybe the original Lemmings for me ? I could resolve all the levels in a row many years ago...
  13. Less than 1 hour here like 59 min. Oh, yes, Doom is really good to play year after year. I still love it too.
  14. Lemmings. Dunno what, but each time I find a Lemmings game, I play it... I have Lemmings 1/2/3(Chronicles)/Oh no/XMas on PC, cleared 3D lem, played a lot Lomax, got PS2&PSP version (all cleared in 2 days), played Gameboy version, Gamegear (if I remember) etc etc etc... Yes, really fanatic >_<
  15. I can't find my Gamecube copy. I know about bad music quality in that version but I don't have anymore my Dreamcast, so... Mmm, has anyone seen my game ?
  16. Yeah, funny game, I've played it for a while. And Dew has mastered the game, obviously.
  17. Yes, the emulator has some issues with game speed, it's slower with mode 7 and some animations. But it's ok for me, I don't play enough SNES emulator to be tired of that, hopefully PSX games are there too, and work perfectly. (example : I've put PSX Chrono Trigger, not SNES original one.)
  18. SNES emulated on the PSP, so I play it at work when I have to stay the evening. I don't know if I'll fight Culex again, but the fun is there for now. (and I have of course the original game with the Super Nes)
  19. haha, I think I understand (same kind of roommate here) ... Seeding here ^^
  20. OH YEAH Now torrenting it... Can't wait to listen to that album. Thanks for the mail !!! I'll let the torrent active for all the night (10 pm here) EDIT : dugg
  21. Happy birthday and all the stuff and THANKS A LOT FOR THIS SITE THAT MADE ME CHANGE MY PLAYLISTS FOR A WHILE
  22. Wonder Boy on my old Amstrad CPC 6128... F D F D F D F D E C E C E C E C F D F D F D F D E C E C E C E C etc etc...
  23. After many hours on the American version of the game, I'm now on the European one. I love this game
  24. Haha a Touhou thread. If Douli hasn"t post it already, I'm a Touhou addict (got all the shooting games, many original discs, IaMP, the SoWR Demo, the Lemmings game, Marisa World, the Megaman game, RTS...), often listening to my 10 Gigs of remixes of the themes. Thanks ZUN for all your job. Last year, I discover Touhou 7 (Perfect Cherry Blossom). R-Type and Gradius/Parodius series fan, I love all the mess on the screen. Mmm, hit box, ok I love that game. Got later the fighting game Immaterial and Missing Power... And so the collection begins. Funny thing, this style of shooting games is said to be a good beginning for gamers because you have to know that only the hit box (the small white dot on the character) has to be protected. So it's very impressive even in easy, but you can clear easily the game. Unfortunately, if I remember well, you don't see the collision box in each game, so play Touhou 8 (Imperishable Night) if you want to see yours in normal or in focus mode. Of course, the last difficulty modes are really really hard, I suppose the mighty Dew has learned perfect each pattern and second of the game... GG Dew >_< After, it's better to play with a (PSone here) Joypad. The character moves a little faster with the pad than with the keyboard, but it's ok. (And we like speed moves when Marisa uses her mega laser against you) About music, I suggest the 'Golden City Factory' versions of Touhou, or 'WAVE' (like orchestral/classic themes). 'Sound Holic' likes jazzy style. 'Hammer' is more trance. You can find pure piano themes also... So many themes... Great job. Oh, and if you want original games on CD, I've ordered mine at Paletweb. Raaah, I was creating a new track on Trackmania Forever, but because of this thread, I think I'll play some Touhou >_<
