Done. Posted the breakdown in the first post. The main melody plays throughout the mix, almost exactly as it is in the original song. The only difference being a few transitional notes.

So.. was thinking of submitting my Dedede track from BadAss, wanted to get a mod review before I did. Edit: Here's a breakdown. Pretty much everything in the track corresponds with the notations from the original just really slowed down. Especially the bass notes (piano, bass, cello). Here's a better rundown of the main stuff. The intro distorted cello plays a slowed down intro bass from the original. :13 the twinkles play the main trumpet lead from the original :26 is the break from the original, minus a few grace notes. 1:04, the effected Cello plays the mian theme minus a few grace notes. The chilly synth also plays it here as well as 2:21 1:17 twinkles play the b side of the main melody from the original 1:55 is pretty much the break/intro bass from the original only slowed down. 2:08 plays a slightly modified version of the main melody. 2:33 plays the main theme again with the twinkles until the end.

So... I've been working on a Ice Cap hip hop instrumental. If you're still looking for someone to fill that spot, I could send you a wip?

Gonna contact everyone invidually, but wanted to let everyone know the first wip check in date is February 20. At the very least for eveyone that has a wip in the works, we expect at that you'd have a solid idea for what the track is going to be & be well into production. For those who have yet to submit a wip, get me something! If you can't make it for any reason, let me or pu_freak know in advance!

I listen to my stuff all the time. Mostly becasue, as has been said already, I make music in the style I like to hear it. Far as listening to my old stuff, I do but it's bitter sweet. I listen to see how much I've grown as a musician, & also to see how much more creative i was back then. Actually started polishing old stuff that catches my ear because of it!

I totally love this song, & wish I'd gotten a hold of it for BadAss. While I can hear the Pendulum influence, I'd say it's skews more towards Hybrid in certain instances, which is awesome as I love both of them bands! Great jorb, Justin!

I must admit, I haven't played Nier, but that soundtrack is just friggin beautiful & awesome. Got it based on a few youtube videos, & was pleasantly surprised on the whole thing. I just realized how much pressure you got Moomba! So much pressure, but that makes diamonds! Sharp, cutting diamands. For knife fights.

Alrighty! Halc, got you down for BioLizard, which is awesome! I wanted something from SA2! Roe, put you down for Lords of Shadow. I think the fact that we have Lucifer as a Boss is hilariously dark.

Alright, I appreciate the enthusiasm for what the name of the project should be, but we have a working title already, it's BadAss: Volume 2. Nothing fancy, but it works. So let's get this thread ready for actual productive project discussion & stuff. To stress, we have a working title, BadAss: Volume 2. We don't need anymore suggestions for an album title.
