nope. common misconception, though. 6/8 is a triple meter, with a basis on a group of three eighth notes, where 3/4 is a duple meter, with a basis on a group of two eighth notes. 6/4 is a duple meter, implying a measure of 4/4 and a measure of 2/4, alternating consistently. it isn't always, but often that's what it means. when it's representing two measures of 3/4, it's usually used to imply a triple feel - meaning, each downbeat of each measure of 3/4 feels like one macrobeat in 6/8. i can't listen to soliphar's track at work, though, so i can't weigh in.

i have an axiom 49, and love it. you should use that. it's rare that you really need the extra octave unless you're doing a lot of keyboard playing. the 49's pretty compact, and you save a bit of money going smaller. i'd suggest that.

i don't suppose 3D Dot Game Heroes is still up for grabs, is it?

along these lines, if you see a good texture pack that's fully compatible with current layouts, i'd love to hear it. i only had mine for a few days before the update broke everything.

i'd love a 360 chatpad or official controller (used is fine). i don't care if the controller is wired or wireless. i like game-related t-shirts, as long as they're funny and not bloody or have curse words (my wife isn't a fan of that stuff). i'm a men's large. the most awesomest gift you could give me, though, would be something towards my much-dreamt-about computer build. newegg gift cards would represent this, and would cause me to love you long time. edit: i cleaned this up a bit.

got it. i'd suggest something with two inputs that's USB-based, then. the m-audio mobilepre is a good suggestion, and it's relatively cheap for the quality you get. i've had mine for four years and only had one problem with it (which was actually just the cord in the end).

you could floor it up in ours. that'd make five, four on the .01% chance that taucer can't make it. we're just not an alcoholic room - like d-lux said about his, alcohol use is fine, abuse is not. there are more than enough drunkard rooms to make up for it =) the only caveat is that we're in the overflow hotel, 3/10ths of a mile away from the main. it's just right up the road.

i noticed this as well. my wife's laptop can't take advantage (at ALL) but my desktop does a great job when everything's maxed out. the HD resolution patch i recently installed helps a lot, too =)

i'm not being clear. i can access irc either on a cell phone, or on my work computer. jirc and mibbit don't work on my work computer. yaaic and androIRC don't work on my phone. edit: my friend just tried to access OCR's channel through mibbit and ocr's jirc link on the chat page from home, and neither works as well.

the free sf2 that darkesword's got is pretty good IMO.
