i'd be interested in collaborating, but i doubt i'd be able to put something together by myself. so, put me down for sax, voice, and other strange instrumentation.

this isn't that old, but i've played the freelancer single-player stuff probably about eight or ten times through. i REALLY love that game - too bad there isn't another game with as streamlined of an interface and game style as that had (x3 was WAY to complex for me, i wanted something more straightforward).

motherboards are complicated if you have a lot of stuff in the case - i mean, i can install one relatively quickly, but i've built SO many computers lately that i can fly if it's one i know well, like the p5n-e or the m2a-vm.

are you implying that the art competitions here are subpar or lo-tech because i would agree

yeah, i think that this is a little above the normal level of art from this place, unfortunately.

so, i'm on slashdot something in the range of 24/7, but what do YOU use for your electronics news? and why? i'm looking to spread out to something less geared towards open-source, since i'm a windows guy, but i want something that's more than just computer stuff and more electronic stuff in general.

gawd, i LOVED that game. put some 45 hours into it. beautiful artwork and design, although the battle interface got a little old. fantastic design, though, just didn't get out into the general publick much.

you know, there's a button for that if you don't want to waste a post...

i just need you speaking it. there's a wikipedia entry of the lord's prayer in different languages at the bottom of the normal entry for it. do it in whatever accent you want, it's just going to be background noise anyways.

particularly if you can either speak another language or have a good speaking voice. i'm working on a mix for something special here on OCR, and i need people to record themselves speaking a short segment of words (the lord's prayer, actually) in a variety of languages, over the course of about 45 seconds. i have: 1. swahili, american male voice 2. american male, normal voice 3. american woman, higher voice. 4. russian woman, lower voice. 5. (possibly) french woman, higher voice. i'd love it if i can get some more parts in here. it's going to all get layered together underneath some choral parts, so it doesn't need to be perfect. i'd love to have swedish, japanese, french male, italian, UK english, etc speakers involved - it'd be awesome, and you'd probably be able to get credit of a sort as well. thanks - pm me for more details!
