  1. I'll have a WIP for you later tonight most likely. But wait a sec; we don't post our stuff here... so to whom do I show my WIP? EDIT: Ready to go... it's bare bones, but it's a WIP in by deadline for sure.
  2. Me demands pics of babydoll tee's on the ladies!
  3. Stickers probably would sell well. Think of how many of use have laptops, guitars, guitar cases, lunch boxes, backpacks, and binders that we would sport them on stylishly.
  4. All I needed to see was po! and/or Morse and I knew I'd love it. Very catchy; I'll be resurfacing it plenty. Nice work guys, nothing fantastic but very sexy. Good to see po!'s still alive.
  5. Woot.. I got my order update last night. Shipped sounds SO much better than awaiting payment.
  6. Lots of notes. Typical delicious Shna. Make more like it please. (In regards to Solstice being beaten in 7 minutes; a video is available here if that satiates anyone's curiosity.)
  7. Damn. At first I was skeptical of the speed with which Harmony became got people's attention & became a judge... I mean he only had two 1/2 decent pieces I ever heard of and he only just recently appeared in the community that I saw. Anything negative I may have held against you is wiped clean bud. The proof of your pudding is in this mix; Djp is right to coo. Great source material, expertly covered. Vocals are a little reverb heavy and the lyrics are a little gay and unimaginitive... but the guitar, piano, production quality, flow and feel are all 11/10. Drop whatever you're doing and make four more like it. Easily the sexiest judge.
  8. I'll take it as an inaccurate. Good track, and in general, I love to hear different stuff on OCR. The strings are pretty painfully unrealistic in comparison to the beautiful percussion. I really like the take on the famous source material, I paused the music to see if I could hear it but it came in it's time pretty clearly. Pretty tasty stuff. Worth showing off, fun, innovative... but nothing spectacular. 8/10
  9. I've been intentionally sitting on Powell for a while now mainly because to do it to the extent I want to will take time, energy, and a LOT of skill. More than I currently have. However, with a deadline now in place I think it's only fair that I at least start practicing.
  10. I was hoping I would be the first to cover this genre, but Makke just did it 4 times better than I would've anyway. Very nice work, an obvious direct post and rightly so; There shouldn't be any controversy on whether or not this passed. And Makke, you are indeed easy on the eyes as well.
  11. You can hear the quality of your stuff immediately. Not a single n00bish corner cut to be heard at all. The squeeky near 3:54 was definitely my favourite part.
  12. Being only familiar with Xenogears of the bunch shouted out to in the melody... and then not even catching a reference there, as usual I was skeptical. At 7:20 this mix, you'd think, might be pushing a few repetition tolerances. But good gravy; what a fantastic mix. The accordian (as you'll see at the bottom of this page) is one that I think is tremendously underrated. One of the most beautiful sounding instruments there is. Also on that page you'll notice I have some of my favourite OCR's posted, and I assure you this mix nearly immediately made that outdated. I'll have to update it with this in there as soon as possible. This song is nearly impossible for me to genrefy, it is a little bit of everything. Soundtrack, funk, jazz, prog rock, um... accordian... and not a second of it isn't sexy imo. Excellent, excellent, excellent work. I demand more from you two.
  13. Important bump of this request. I could use someone on it ASAP. I only need like 16 bars.
  14. I can imagine what you hear in your head and prefer it as well. I agree my covering of this piece gets a 5/10 if that. 1, I had the better recording and the filtered recording on my PC, but both got deleted, which actually, wasn't my fault. I only posted the Accordian WIP which was filtered, and I had to download and work backwards from that. We're already talking about sound loss there. (hear the pitch bend off the beginning? I couldn't get rid of that.) 2, The accordian was a rental a long time ago. I cannot re-record it. 3, All files are deleted. That is all I'm bringing to the table... and furthermore, it would seem my subpar accordian, and probably whatever accompaniment I brought with it, also differed from the visions that others had for this remix anyway. To that I say: "Please: one-up me." It was recommended to me that I add to what I had. I did. If I wanted to do it all over again I'd probably learn from my mistakes (which is ironic, given the source title) I would do something completely different. But I don't want to, I'm gonna walk away. Not bitter, or discouraged... I just think I'm done here. Sorry. God I suck at collaborations. I backed out of the Sonic 3 & Knuckles one the same way.
  15. Ok, that stupid accordian thing has been the scourge of my existance to try and return to, but I'm gonna dedicate the next 2 or 3 hours to trying to expand it... ...right after some ramen noodles. EDIT: Mmmm... good ramen noodles... So yeah; that's DEFINITELY all you're getting out of me so don't expect any more. Nothing can be tweaked, as is my style, all bridges have been burned behind me.
  16. Man... I go in to post my two cents and I see the public's been hassling pixietricks again. Sometimes I forget how crazy people go for a pair of boobs sometimes. (Handled well BTW, Jillie) Okay; here's what I have to say about this project my peoples: Nice freaking work. I only heard parts of Kong in Concert, and haven't heard Relics of the Chozo, but every other finished site project I d/led in full and I'd be surprised to find that this isn't the best one. The album flows well, the production quality is high, and the length in general is quite satisfying. Very very very very very cool. I REALLY wish I grew up on doom, that would just make this all so much cooler. Tracks in particular I find worth metnioning: 06 - Evil Horde's Leaning Tower of Babel: sick breaks w/ glitches = win. Very tasty little piece, I don't know about the rest of you but this is the kind of song that gets stuck in my head forever and taps my toe. 07 - Beatdrop's Reprocessed: the piercing tones are a delight, very industrial. Like sex. 09 - Roetaka's Chemical Imps: Dang I miss you around the PRC's bro. Dirty synths with phat beats. Iffy about the piano but it's the kind of piece you have to appreciate. 22 - Elsa & Larsec's Darkness Dawning: By 2:49 (the screaming rockout part) it becomes clear that this is the climax of the album, not necessarily for quality but for emotion/story. It's incredible you guys put this much thought into it, I'm proud of you all. Again, you guys should all be really proud, it's a solid piece of work and I hope it brings in a steady stream of Doom fans.
  17. AHOY! Bladiator does it again! Have a drink with me my brother! :vomit:
  18. I don't feel as though I can bring myself to like it too much. Sorry... I'll give it a few more listens, but there's just some things about it that are disagreeing with me. And it can't just be that metal isn't my genre of choice because Dennis Mott's Castlevania cover is one of my favourite OCR's. Not for me.
