This would be incredible as the opening theme of a Zelda movie. I can see it in my mind... lots of sweeping shots of Hyrule are involved, I'll tell you that.

Not bad. Yes, slightly too close to, say, emo, for my tastes, and the vocals need work, but catchy and it's got a good beat.

Much like the Lightning Star remix for Sonic the Hedgehog, I love the first part, and feel like the second part is good, but not quite to my tastes. Despite this, the overall package is great, especially considering I wasn't crazy about the Guardian Theme in the first place.

This may be my favorite Sonic remix on the site. It's definitely in the top 3 at least. When the theme finally kicks in at 1:28, I get shivers. This has variety, stays close enough to the original without being a carbon copy, and it just sounds incredible. Absolutely amazing.

I'm playing through Mega Man X for the first time right now (late to the party, I know), and this is the first remix I've checked out for it. Protricity is in fantastic shape, as always. Excellent work.

Wow, originally I wasn't a huge fan of this because I had never played much of Chrono Trigger, but I'm actually playing through it this time and suddenly I love this. Excellent work, great lyrics, wonderful all-around.

I was browsing mixes tonight, unable to find anything I really liked, and then I saw that Jivemaster - the master himself - finally had a new mix out. Once again, I am blown away. Thank you, Jivemaster. This mix is outstanding. =D

This collection is incredible. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is my fifth favorite game of all time, and this collaboration does the soundtrack justice and then some. Every song is excellent, there's no break in the quality, it's just fantastic remixing the whole way through. My thanks and praise goes out to everyone who was involved with this project.

I had completely forgotten about this track, and listening to this brought so many memories back. I was never a huge Sonic & Knuckles fan, either (more of a Sonic 2 guy), so back when I was just a kid, I only managed to get this far in the game a couple times. It's amazing what memories can come forth when you hear a piece of music like this. Very touching. I really should go back and play Sonic & Knuckles again.
