Trumpet VST?
lol
I have some average trumpet soundfonts [with doiks and shakes!].
I'll upload it for you. I still have quite a few soundfonts from thesoundsite.net, RIP.

Also this should've gone in the sample request thread but whatever.
Your topic has nothing to do with FL or "vst trouble," really, so I would suggest a new thread title EXCEPT for actually there is already a sample request thread.

Much love to BGC and Pixie for spawning

Freeze doesn't matter much here, when everything's going on at once [apparently!]
I thought FL Studio had a freeze function but I never really noticed!

Take advantage of internal MIDI routing and automated patch changes.
Though patch changes might not be very good when using QLSO, haha
Also, a lot of hollywood composers use a multi-computer setup, where they would for example run GigaStudio with different libraries on one computer, and record on another.... though I have no idea how you actually do that, it's something to look into depending on how serious you are about a good orchestral setup.

A lot of them aren't exactly accurate either.

Um, I imagine this section is just for site-related announcements. Unless your album is like some monumentously awesome VG rap collection.

I heard that middle-aged women dating 20-something guys is actually not that rare.
I saw this on Oprah so it must be true.
I AM THE OPPOSITE THOUGH IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN HEH HEH

I wish someone would pay me $50.

キタ━━━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━━━!!!!!
You know, some people have been vocal about how it's lame to have site news in the remix writeups... but I don't see why. Maybe I'm just used to it being that way.
I think it's neat because you can associate a past event with a remix (´∀`).

PSR-74
lol
Well it's still usable as a MIDI controller at least. It's probably be cheaper for you just to get a good software sequencer and stock up on the buttload of free softsynths and samples out there. Especially if you're aiming to be as good as to get hosted on OCR.

Well what kind of keyboard do you have already?
If it's a fancy keyboard with its own built-in sequencer, you don't necessarily need midi or a computer sequencer. Just a means to get the audio onto your computer [like, with an audio cable, hurr ].
If it's got MIDI [which you have] but no sequencer, you'll need two things. First off, a sequencer like you can find in this list. Second, something which will let you use your midi keyboard on the computer. The cheapest solution is an M-Audio MIDISport Uno or 1x1:
http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/MIDISPORT1x1-main.html
http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Uno-main.html
Don't buy it from there though, you can probably get it for cheaper on other sites.
A MIDI keyboard is extremely useful and almost necessary if you're doing computer sequencing. Especially if you know how to play the piano well, it'll help you work efficiently inside a DAW [digital audio workstation] environment.
So that's out of the way. Tell me what kind of keyboard you have.

There isn't even much difference between USB2 and Firewire. They're both fast enough to provide for a good external audio interface.
There are kinds of I/O boxes you can buy at Guitar Center for a few hundred bucks, and sometimes they come with software. I know a guy who bought a MBox that came with a small version of ProTools [LE right? 17 track recording] for around $300 or so. He had some problems getting it set up, but he was using a PC. Dunno if it's any different on a Mac.

but seriously the first thing I thought of when I heard bgc was a judge was "...who?"
BGC would be relatively unknown to me, except for the fact that he has actually arranged Metroid 2. I'm always on the lookout for new Metroid 2 arrangements!

I think videogame music is pretty cool to learn how to play anything. There's a big range of difficulty from "easiest song ever" to "holy fuck I'm getting owned by this .vgm." So if I were you I'd just learn songs from whatever game you feel like at the moment.

ok i know this sounds crazy, but Kontakt 2 will only play notes that are the colour green on piano roll. Crazy yes, why I don't know.
Actually that's not crazy! Different colors represent different midi channels. So your note color may have been pink and that's channel.... I dunno. The colors are all too damn similar, I don't like using them because of that.

DJP can see what we buy?

tweakbench stuff doesn't give me much of a CPU hit anymore.
But I am running 3.2 GHz... LoL
I have two other mellotron VSTi, they are free but neither of them really have everything that tapeworm does. M-tron seems to have more samples, but it's €100 as opposed to €0

I taught Gray how to use FruityLoops :3
Other than that I don't really talk to him much.
lol

¿hablando a través de los traductores es justo así que asustadizo, no es? : D
emotion is not conveyed well!
But now you know where to post your songs for feedback.
You know, I know a guy from Spain who helped me on my last music disk

I have an issue with FL Studio Producer Edition v5.02. When I go to save my project as a Fruity Loops loop file, it dont save it right. All I get is a file with the name i chose and a file size of 0. If I save it as a zipped loop file the loop file in the zip is also 0 on its file size in the zip. If I save as a mp3 or wav file Im just fine. What is causing this and how can I fix it?
That's an issue that happens with some cracked versions of FL... Some cracking groups [or maybe just one] kinda fucked up and distributed a version with saving errors... lol.
Er, I mean... buy FL6

Poste en los “Works In Progress: Other” si tienes composiciones originales, y “Works in Progress: OC ReMixes” si tienes el videojuegos remezcla.
También REALMENTE te recomiendo aprendo inglés para comunicarse en este Web site.
cakewalk compared to other midi sequencers

Reasons why ProTools is not that great:
-For most professionals, ProTools LE is like a "teaser" to get the full thing, so you can go beyond 17 tracks.
-Having to switch "low-latency mode" on and off
-RTAS. No support for VST or DX
-Interface is not that great compared to something similar [i've used both ProTools and Samplitude a little bit in a studio environment. Samplitude does the same stuff for a lot cheaper]
-in the context of this thread, very little in the way of midi sequencing. In fact I don't even know if there is any.
-RTAS, lol
