Tactical Sekt. If DDR went satanic, they would play this. That's not to imply that the sound is grating, but it's certainly not some japanese chick singing about sunshine.
-
You certainly did.

I've actually found that I am no longer on top of most of the new games coming out because I don't see TV commercials anymore, and I don't read gaming magazines. If there were ads for current generation games, I would actually find that useful. Everyone would win.

Rock/metal bands with female lead vocalists- recommendations?
SLyGeN replied to Culturekoi's topic in General Discussion
I think you would enjoy some of Darzamat's older work. Secret Garden: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ljKD2tsbjg Onriad and In the Abyss of Forgotten Woods are also good examples. Darzamat's newer work is much different, but is just as great. The Burning Times: And finally, I suggest Lacrimosa's Alleine zu Zweit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCkGWv679tE -
Much like small rooms and objects have resonant frequencies, you also have one inside your upper chest. If you can find your tone of voice in which it resonates within yourself as the sound waves leave your body, you'll notice your voice will become louder even though you don't put any more energy into it. You'll sound rather monotonous, though. Edit: Think Megaman with that sound wave powerup in whichever sequel it was. It's the same underlying principle.

Thanks for the guidance. Eventually I'll probably force myself to practice- I've been noticing that I am wishing more and more that I could play music among the rest of my friends that do.

Make sure it isn't a memory issue. If it is, then your repairs/fdisks/reinstalls will do nothing for you. I had bad memory, and the result was random BSODs soon after startup. Memtest might be worth running.

I've found myself semi-interested in learning the piano, and I like the idea of playing video game music as a hobby (how unique, right?) Right now I've been using Timidity's tracer to import midis and just look at the keys which are struck and try to memorize the pattern. I've also been using MidiNotate to transcribe the midi to sheet music and I've tried to read that, which I still need to get a lot better at. The thing is, sometimes midis use different instruments to produce a harmonious sound, but when the midi is imported, the staffs are seperated. Is there a way to do a sort of "quick mix" with the staffs with any program, and perhaps even edit the staff? Maybe a program for nooblets like me in which it'll actually note "B-flat" or something right by the note itself. Maybe even something to outline something like Timidity's Tracer window so that it just shows me which keys to press with a picture, over and over again. Suggestions of a better way to do this? Maybe I should just try to learn sheet music..

Tactical Sekt is electronica for the metal heads. Typical dance beat, dark feel. Although other groups have quite a similar sound, the sound itself is pretty rare and unique as far as I've heard. Also Hocico's side project entitled Dulce Liquido (specifically "Disolución") is another that I would recommend. Sounds similar to Tactical Sekt.

That would be my guess. Logically, to save power, everyone should go to bed and wake up at an earlier time no matter what the time of year is. Of course, nobody will do that. Three weeks early seems to be pretty arbitrary to me.

The way DST saves energy is by rolling forward the clocks, so that you are awake during more of the daylight, reducing as much need for lights to be on. At 8:00 at night, the light outside is as if it were 7:00. Although you're up for the same amount of hours, those hours are shifted to align with the daytime. Unless you're a non-conformist and don't believe in the circadian rhythm, like me.

I hope to god you aren't talking specifically about the Essence of Metroid Prime. God, what a cakewalk.

Is this okay? Absolutely beatuiful. Also, since is the newbies forum, I'll ask a newbie question: What is with the "MGS Codenames" in everyones' sigs? Do you just make them up, so do you go somewhere and recieve them? I've wondering for a while, and I don't get much time to browse the forums. http://www.ocremix.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=41432 its an old UnMod forum. -

Read the first post. UnMod isn't very n00b friendly so I figured I would make a thread in the one place where they are welcome. I never meant for this to be a "ask Capn for a sig!!!111" thread, I just figured I would be one of a handful of people that would volunteer and help out. Guess I was wrong. UnMod as a whole is unfriendly to "noobs", but specific threads are friendly. The sig-making thread is one of them. Some n00bs, like me in my first month, had the sense to stay out of UnMod because i was a lurker for quite a while. Therefore, i wouldnt have seen it. -

I would like a sig. I like these pictures best, please put both Shadow and the real-life hedgehog in there. What i want is to have shadow off o one side and the real hedgehog off to the other, stick my name in somewhere, and i would like the background to be black and red. So, pretty much anything that looks good from there. http://www.angelfire.com/falcon/shadowthehedgehog/Shadow_3.JPG And if you can think of any sort of catch phrase that would fit in there, go right ahead with that. thx in advance! the other image gets replaced with some 'hosted by angelfire' crap, so i left it as a link. copy/paste it into the address bar rather than clicking on it. -
