Hello everyone, here my last remix of sonic the hedgehog. I know the first core are not perfect, but it's cause i haven't a good computer, so i try to make my possible. It's not a boom boom boom evil song cause i try to put feeling in the song, like movie style ^^. I hope you'll enjoy. Your comment and advice are welcome. Bak.R -
I made a cover of the Final Boss Theme from Mega Man 4, as well as a 16-bit version of said song, in FruityLoops Studio 9 and some NES VSTs. I figure I shouldn't submit them seeing as we usually go for 'real' techno or rock or any genre using modern instruments, but they're here: 8-bit cover: Looping version: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/325139 Mega Man X remix: Looping version (a bit loud): http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/325141 I tried to make the 8-bit version a remake as close as possible to the original, as opposed to a ReMix, so that's just another reason to not actually submit it here. However, I'm extremely proud of it. It's my greatest personal achievement in music, and I'm glad I managed to do it. -

Greetings all! You can't get away from your roots, at least that's what they told Macbeth, and look what happened to him when he didn't believe it. So I've written up a piece that is very similar to the stuff that got me started in video games (apart from Tyrian). Try to imagine playing DX3 before it's released, or if an Unreal 3 gets released. Here's another from my upcoming Xbox soundtrack. This takes place in a "girly" stage, so the song is appropriately "girly." Only with a goofy video game soundtrack could I get away with this. This is my first ever game remix and only the the second ever piece i've made in midi. I'm still not even close to good with FL Studio but practice makes perfect. It's a remix of the Miners and Climbers stage music from Lemmings. I know part of the guitar solo sounds pretty rough. I was finding it hard to get a good sound from the fast played notes. If anyone can tell me some ways to make it sound better i'd appreciate it. After beating FF13, I decided to play 6 again for some reason. Then, I came across this tune, and I just had to do something about. I trimmed down the original from 2:35 down to 1:08 while still capturing all the nuances. I removed the tempo slowdown changes to keep the pace steady, and I played around with the arrangement components. I also tried to give this track a more glorious / evil sound to it. Enjoy! Okay, I know what you're thinking "WHO THE HECK ARE YOU!?! SOME NUB!?!?" And yes, I am. Then there might be about 5 of you around here who know I'm an old fogie. Those of you are probably cringing at the idea of me remixing, remembering the BEERmix of ol'. Anyway, all that aside - on to my big announcement. After 6 years of studying my mistakes, and the works of the masters such as DjFish - I have finally built up the confidence to break out onto my own. So here it is, my first OCR worthy piece.
