  1. Yo, Another one of my favorite soundtracks that I feel is overlooked. Love the style. Anyways not an exact cover but not a remix either. Enjoy. Original: My version: Peace
  2. Hi there! I'm Paul. I'm new to this website so I'm not 100% how it works but, I've seen some really awesome stuff though and I'm glad to be a part of this community! I've just started my own journey of creating metal versions of classic retro (and maybe some modern) video game music. I've started with a very well known theme that's probably been done to death, but I'd like to think I put my own spin on it. A Swedish melodic metal twist perhaps? Anyway... here it is! Hope you all like it! Peace!
  3. Here is a straight literal remix of Ken's Stage for Super Nintendo. As in, I used emulation of extract the highest quality version of each sound channel from the original game, and then remixed it all in a DAW without adding any outside samples or tracks from any other source. Modern EQ, reverb, compression, and guitar amp simulators helped a lot to improve the sound. A few measures of the original SNES sound are spliced in for comparison.
  4. Hello Everyone! I've been remixing video game songs for a few months now and I'm finally posting them here. This is my latest remix, Ken's Theme from Street Fighter II. It's complete, but before I submit it, I need to finalize the name. Currently, I'm referring to it as "Street Fighter II Ken's Theme Hard Rock Remix," but if anyone could suggest a better name, that'd be great. Let me know what you think of this one. I have a few other completed songs that I'll post soon as well. Dallas
  5. 3 of my favourite street fighter characters theme's remixed in a metal style. Enjoy! Original material below...
  6. Here's me stepping into new territory - rock remixes with vocals and lyrics. I'm doing several songs in this style, but I'm not feeling sure about this one. Please let me know what your impression is of this song. It's only the first verse and chorus, lots of it needs retakes, but all the ingredients are there basically. In my opinion, the tempo is probably too fast -- what do you guys think about that?
