I was planning to get a typing keyboard when I found about this keyboard/keyboard hybrid thing:

Should I get it? What do you think?

$50 doesn't seem like too bad a price. According to the Creative site, though, the (piano) keys are "mini-sized" which might bother you if you're used to standard-sized piano keys.

I'd wager the keys can't be smaller than these, which I'm using currently:

Course, Rhythmic 2 has no velocity detection or MIDI interfacing or anything like that, so the Prodikeys would be an obvious improvement.

There appear to be several versions. I'm not sure which one is better or why.

Also, typing keyboards are supposed to be expendable unless you're one of those ergonomy weenies like me. You'll end up with a music keyboard full of unsanitary gunk thanks to typing on it for a year or so.
