1. 1. Should Larry bring back VGF as OCR's podcast?

    • Yes
    • YES
    • Larry's merely part of the establishment now (i.e. yes)
    • Yes, as this promotes affirmative action

HOLLAND 4ever. Darkesword NEVER!

Begone Satan and never return.

In other non-Holland related news I probably won't be around tomorrow. This equation should show why.

Insane mate+empty house+huge sound system=you work it out

I may be there but I'll be smashed if I am so the AIM transcript could be a laugh.

It's likely I won't be there for a while now, trying to get into a sleeping pattern that doesn't take me past 5am  Don't count me out though.

Still, I'll be downloading the archive files, so you haven't lost a listener either way.

Waddap, everybody. VG Frequency #23 is available for your downloading pleasure over at my webspace, clocking in at 117MB. Thanks to everyone who tuned in and contributed, as well as Mr. Mystery Indian caller (Kris), Wingless, bLiNd & DCT for calling in, as well as OverCoat for the usual AIM chat transcript hookup. I know bLiNd's call-in is kind of low, so feel free to use headphones on that. If I have time to chill in the studio and raise the levels on that a little bit, I may do that, but it's a tedious process as Species can attest to. If I do have the time to tweaks those levels and re-release the show MP3, I'll let you know.

It's been just over a year since I started getting attention from the community-at-large for my radio show, so to celebrate, we not only have this week's chat transcript, but for a limited time you can check out my first ever AIM conversation with OverCoat back on March 22nd, 2003. SOC was my first listener from the community back when my show had the terribly plain title of "(Insert Name Here)", and he's been with me and the show through and through. Thanks a lot for your support from the beginning, Scott!

Glad to have DCT back at 'em as well! Everyone glad to see you around again. If you wanna get more info on the goings on in DCT's life in the past month, you really should check out the show and hear what he had to say. We're all looking forward to you're gonna be working on, continuing to bring mor ehip-hop flavor to the community. Stay ambitious, bro!

There's also a 40MB lower quality MP3 available by request; if anyone is interested in that, let me know. Here's your playlist folks. See you next week!

Having the same trouble NJ Sykora had last week with the mp3 not downloading. According to my download manager, "The date in the certificate is invalid or has expired", so make of it what you will. It's also happening with ALL the files in your loji folder.

EDIT: It does seem to be downloading without the aid of Flashget, however I never had trouble downloading them before, so I'm not sure who's to blame if anyone here.

Maybe it's just us with our crappy English connections.

or the stupid americans not being able to upload files properly.

EDIT: Just read through the playlist Larry. Many thanks for pimping out the Sonic 2 Project again. Thanks from the whole Palette Swap crew.

So I'm on AIM a little after 4 PM waiting for an upload to go through and I decide to check Larry's info for some reason. It pops up with the red font... "he's on the radio?" I ask myself, puzzled. Sure enough, I click the link and there's some serious VG mixes getting airtime. Then I check out the VG Frequency chatroom and no one's there... so it's not VG Frequency, it's just Larry getting some airtime and playing VG mixes.

I had no idea you did this! *continues listening*

EDIT: He played the demo version of my old Sealab 2021 cover and some chick named Paige was dissing it... funny stuff.

thats 10am -12 noon on a sunday. right?
If you do, you'll probably have the pleasure of listening to some jackasses breaking Larry's cords, or some two-bit whore ranting off about how J-Pop is the best (No wait, that's Paige  )

Tune in at 3pm on the Sunday, just to be sure. But it'll likely be at 4pm.

Hey TCK, we should meet up sometime. Then we can argue in person.
Whoa, you move in fast, boy! :P
