Arcana
"Asshole Mario Stage 1" These things amuse me a lot. I'm surprised some of these levels are even solvable. I also get entertained to see how old Super Mario World obstacles can be used for super-creative puzzles. Apparently this guy beat it without save states too. The Author
ProtonJonSA did a good job, too bad about the quitting part. Raocow (http://www.youtube.com/user/raocow) is extremely entertaining in both his playing and absurd commentary.
Arek the Absolute
Proton Jon's video you linked is part of a compilation SA did for Kaizo Mario.

Ferret
I dunno...I don't really like Raocow that much.
Schwaltzvald
I'd prefer Protonjon over raocow anyday. Heck sometimes I'd watch his when things are absolutely dull around here, or his other LP vids.
The Author
Well, for the last 5 months, Raocow has been giving the goods, even doing a Super Metroid hack. But right now my favourite LPer is HCBailly. He obsessively knows his stuff.
Tensei
The best LPers are obviously Maxwell Adams and his crew.
Schwaltzvald
I will say though DeceasedCrab is probably the only lper that did .He seems like a very toned down raocow to me, which is just right imo. Mangaminx and Surrealgamer are awesome for their forays into Survival Horror games.

Arcana
ultimate example in 3... 2... 1...</thread> I knew that a bunch of those tracks were familiar... so I checked and noticed Idolm@ster and Touhou as being most familiar. Either way, I stand corrected and slightly aroused.

Seeing the effects go through all 4 stages is phenomenal.

Yeah, I loved that, but for some reason, I had trouble accepting it as a true and pure ROM hack, seeing as I can't download the ROM and see it as it appeared in the video. not saying it wasn't absolutely incredible.
