The Biznut
Your options in decreasing order based on ease of execution are: 0. Google. I hope you started here. Always start here. 1 or maybe 2. Acquire an OST 2 or maybe 1. Try to find the track on youtube and use a youtube video to audio converter. 3. Get the appropriate audio adapters and hook your PSP/PS3 audio output cables into your computer's audio input/mic jack. Download and install audacity. Play track & record mic input. 4. Remake the song yourself using the DAW of your choice. Welcome to OCR
DarkeSword
I don't think there's a clean way to rip audio from PSP games. :\
Chernabogue
The best way is to get the OST. But you can also find some tracks on YouTube, and with an audio/video encoder, you'll be able to get it on your PC. And for the PS3 rips, I think there's no possibility for the moment. Moseph
If you can hear the music in-game in a setting where it isn't spoiled by sound effects, etc. you can always run an audio cable from the system's audio out to your computer's audio in and record the music that way. Gollgagh
I don't think there's a clean way to rip audio from PSP games. :\ well with some games you can extract it from the iso (but that would require either a hacked PSP or a pirated game) using UMDGen even then you have to know which kind of file to look for for the game music I did this with DJ Max 2 forever ago and I don't quite remember how it works
prophetik music
I don't think there's a clean way to rip audio from PSP games. :\ there is not. i looked into this for ages. sometimes you can pull the audio out of an .iso made from the game, but usually it's in a proprietary format and you can't convert it properly. Nabeel Ansari
4. Remake the song yourself using the DAW of your choice. Welcome to OCR ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ But can't you just look around youtube for soundtrack? They have everything. X_X
mikurotoro
I found out there is a way to rip from a ps3, you need an optical cable so if you want to rip ps3 that's how you do it:lol:
Gollgagh
I found out there is a way to rip from a ps3, you need an optical cable so if you want to rip ps3 that's how you do it:lol: that's not really ripping the music so much as it is catching it
Audity
Hi! I'd like to know if there's been any headway on the ease of ripping PSP music, because this song is amazing: and there's no OST with it.
prophetik music
there's a very easy way that involves putting an 1/8" jack into your computer, and using audacity some psp iso files have audio in them that is able to be removed and played with a special emulator. most don't have that, but some do.
