Tensei
Flamebreak is like his worst spell though. He's all about the napalm spam; get 5+ stacks on someone, turn on firefly and make a beeline for them and towerdive like a baller.
Dhsu
I just realized the description for Firefly on Playdota.com says "Nothing can take the skies from him." Loooool. Edited December 13, 2011 by Dhsu
Tensei
Ah, awesome. They're adding Volibear. Also, customizable item builds. Edited December 16, 2011 by Tensei
Nase
i remember ulfsaar. some oldschool dota heroes can seem really strange though when you look at them coming from hon. he's agi. his passive makes him seem like a distant relative of predator, but then he also has scout's flurry and an ult that, together with the passive, sort of forces him into tanky builds. to do more damage. the ult also is like a reversed version of maliken's passive in the sense that you get weaker as you lose hp. weird design. how do people usually build him? full tanky, full agi, a combination? bloodstone and butterfly? Tensei
He can solo Roshan around level 7 if he has Vlads, which is usually the first item people build on him. After that Vanguard + Treads/Phase + Blink is usually the core, after that you can go Heart or something. He can pretty much afford to go for pure tank because of his ult. Patch is live now btw. Tensei
If you have 40 minutes to burn, this game is SO worth watching: Part 1 Part 2 Due to group-stage shenanigans there's a tiebreaker mechanic in effect which means that mTw has to win within 36:08 to qualify, which makes for an incredibly tense game. Rambo
Steam ID is heavydamage User name is [lions]Rambo EDIT: I've only had a chance to take a look at the INT characters so far... but it looks like 80% of them translate directly into HoN. So this might not take too long to integrate into!
DarkeSword
So uh...Valve decided to give this game to me as a gift from the Gift Pile. I have no idea what I'm doing but it's all very pretty.
Tensei
This game is hard to learn, especially since there isn't a tutorial in yet. Best thing to do is read up on some basics and play a few bot games with people who can explain more about the game. Also, WC 3 DotA patch 6.73 just got released with 4 new heroes and a shitton of balance changes (nerfs to antimage!) so you can expect to see these come up in Dota 2 as well. http://www.playdota.com/changelogs/6.73 This skill cracks me up btw: Duel ====== (Active, enemy hero target) Calls the targeted enemy for a duel. Both you and the enemy will be forced to attack each other and will both be unable to use items or abilities. The victor gains 10 permanent bonus damage. The Derrit
reading over that patchlog, why doesn't tiny have the ability to carry a tree in dota 2?
Tensei
It hasn't been implemented yet for some reason. It's a pretty cool ability though, so the fact that it got buffed maybe means that they'll put it in soon.

Tensei
I suppose it's hard to get multiple people together in the holiday period. Had some good games with capalangley and dhsu yesterday though.
Nase
thanks a bunch for the key, tensei. seems like the social aspect is done via the steam friends system? i go by "skoshu" there. what are some of your names? i wanna play tmm. Dhsu
DarkeSword, mind updating the first post with people with keys? I go by [OCR] Dhsu, but IIRC Steam's friend-adding system is weird and you have to use my account name, which is deeshoo.
Tensei
I made an OCR channel ingame to make it easier to set up games, if you add "chat_join ocremix" to your autoexec.cfg file it should autojoin whenever you log in.
Nase
my 2nd invite is up for grabs if anyone wants it. i got mine here so i figured i should give something back. i'd prefer to give the key to someone who knows and likes the genre. otherwise there's always the danger of the player not touching the game after 2 depressing matches.
