Thanks for the opportunity. A shame I can't upgrade my tix for Chicago should I win, since that's the show I'm headed to this weekend. Either way, sign me up, and thanks for the chance to win!

Hmm... I'm in the Los Angeles area, Nobuo Uematsu is my primary influence and inspiration for most of my music, all I need to do is post in this thread, so... yeah. This contest is right up my alley.

Hey, no less of a chance to win than taking a lottery ticket. Hope I win.

:-D

Definitely "in it to win it". The music of Nobuo Uematsu is absolutely beautiful... Makes my ears smile and cry tears of joy--well, in the hypothetical scenario that ears could show emotion, anyway. They totally would. c:

I'm from Poland, wishing to be the one to win and not only have great time during the concert, but also to sightsee some London at the same time :)

The main theme of FFIV has been my absolute favorite video game song for years, if not my favorite piece of music overall. It really got me into video game music as well as OCRemix and I have none other than Mr. Uematsu to thank. Here's to him and his lovely compositions.

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said. Uematsu's been a huge influence and a respected musical creative in the videogame industry. And for fans like us, we must at least once see this man's work live. Although I'm in Europe and my only chance now is London, count me in for the contest.

<3 Nobuo Uematsu! One of my favorite composers of all time! I hope when our children's children are growing up that Nobuo Uematsu is praised as much as Bach or Brahms. :) He's an inspiration to all. Not only musically, but in life in general. He's a man who followed his dreams, and is very successful. You can tell he enjoys it, because the love puts in, comes out tenfold in his music. :)

Well, since I've got nothing to lose, here I am, posting. I honestly always look forward to new Final Fantasy games just for the sake of hearing more music by Nobuo Uematsu. I'll be at Otakon during the concert that is closest to me, so even though I'd love to go, I'll be busy at the con.

Here's hoping for a win!

Yeah, I already did this once two days ago before you guys recognized this was a violation of the ToS. Anyways, here's my second attempt to get free tickets. No whammies.

I wasn't aware of Nobuo-san's concerts around the globe on these days, it's great to have him back on the composing... Hail one of the greatest musicians of our time!

And this forum is awesome, btw!

Regards! n_n

Nobuo Uematsu ftw! He was actually here in Atlanta last month to sit in on a concert with his music being performed. It's just a shame I didn't get to go... :(

Either way, this is awesome. One of my biggest influences right here! :D

I love Uematsu's music, and his work in the Final Fantasy series. It would mean the world to me if I could go to a Distant Worlds concert and meet the man himself. Thank you for your consideration.

Nobuo Uematsu is the man who made me enjoy voiceless music. And I am very thankful for it.

I wish I could see him in London... but I didn't manage to get a hold on tickets. :(

P.S.: Props to Sag Ee Mana & Doulifee. Huhu.

Mr. Uematsu inspires me since Final Fantasy IX, also the older and the later FF-Games got awesome Music and the Black Mages blowing Mind! So please sign me up for the contest

I've seen Nobuo once in Florence, but I never met him by person and I'd really really like to. Talking about music with him must be a unique experience. I'm in!

I grew up playing Final Fantasy, all the way from Final Fantasy iV, and the music has always been my favorite paet of the series. This man should definitely keep up the good work!

I live in Vancouver, and I have been right there with Uematsu since the first games. I would lose myself in the music first and foremost and it's always been an inspiration in my music as a producer.

Always a proud supporter.

Here's my entry; just want to give a nod to the greatness of Uematsu and my favorite track from him (Phantom Forest from FF6). Regardless of the age, he is a pioneer in contemporary RPG music and easily among my favorites of all time. Here's to your next work, and the many more in the future!
