Chernabogue Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 I'm excited to know how the story will continue. I can't wait! Quote
Gollgagh Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Well if he still has it you could always just watch the Theater Mode, provided he beat the game. oh maybe I'll do that too Quote
Mirby Posted March 25, 2012 Author Posted March 25, 2012 ... Sucks that we still don't have a release date for Europe and North America. When do you guys think we'll get one? Well we have a vague Summer 2012, so that's something I guess. It helps that it's been confirmed that both David Gallagher and Haley Joel Osment have finished recorded (by Gallagher no less), so since they probably have the most lines in the game that's a good sign. We may just get an English trailer soon... Quote
Mirby Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 Music previews released!! Linking to the KHI article instead of the video itself because that has a list of songs in the video. I'm actually digging the TWEWY tracks brought over... :3 Quote
Malaki-LEGEND.sys Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 While the TWEWY music is great, there is a disturbing lack of Daft Punk in these samples. I'd better hear Derezzed, Castor, or Son of Flynn somewhere in the game, or Ima hurt somebody. Quote
The Derrit Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 oh oh should i go get this?? i mean, seeing as i live in japan now and all the different voices might be weird though mickey's just not mickey without his voice Quote
Mirby Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 While the TWEWY music is great, there is a disturbing lack of Daft Punk in these samples. I'd better hear Derezzed, Castor, or Son of Flynn somewhere in the game, or Ima hurt somebody. Well it isn't a revelation of the entire soundtrack; it's just 8 tracks of the 16 on Disc 1 of the OST. So those could be in there or not; I'm not quite sure... Quote
Chernabogue Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Samples are kinda nice. The songs are... uh, strange however. Quote
Mirby Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 What do you mean by strange? The majority of the video is the three TWEWY songs, which are full length for some reason. Quote
Chernabogue Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 What do you mean by strange? The majority of the video is the three TWEWY songs, which are full length for some reason. Ah... I did not play TWETY, so I'm absolutely not familiar to its music. I'm not fan of these samples, but the others, the more "traditional KH" ones, are very nice. Quote
Mirby Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 That explains it. TWEWY songs certainly are unique, and I can see how they wouldn't be for everyone. However, for those of us who played that game and love it, it's rather nostalgic and awesome to hear them in this -KINGDOM MIX- as the OST refers to them as. Quote
The Derrit Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 so i went to yamada denki to go get this game and then i was like HOLY FUCK WHY IS THIS SO EXPENSIVE the next time you think of a game being a few months behind in america, think of those months as time instead of money. DDD was 5100 yen, which comes out to 62.25. it won't be more than 40 in america. if you think about it like that waiting isn't so bad Quote
Mirby Posted March 30, 2012 Author Posted March 30, 2012 I've already got it pretty much fully paid off as a preorder at GameStop (minus tax), so it's guaranteed mine. So did you end up getting it or not? also that link now holds a Disc 2 preview, which is mostly the Tron: Legacy world themes. Quote
The Derrit Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 i didn't get it because i just made a bank account yesterday and need to wire myself money from home. right now i'm practically broke.. but i may go back to get it later Quote
Mirby Posted April 5, 2012 Author Posted April 5, 2012 And we've finally received confirmation on a US release date: July 31, 2012. Source Quote

The Derrit Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 i hope you enjoy it. i'm trying to avoid spoilers myself, but have fun! thanks feel free to ask mechanics questions too, i wouldn't want to ruin the story for anyone either. Quote
The Derrit Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 so i caved like a bitch and bought a japanese 3DS so i could play this. i'm going to be living here for at least a year and it's not like i'll buy zero games in that time so i can afford to do it. 1st thing: movement is awesome. you don't have to put up with that whole 'oh hey i do a three hit combo' stuff for the entire game until you get airdashes and such; it gives you that and a bag of new tricks right off the bat. spells and stuff you still have to find and earn though which i'm glad about. Mirby Posted May 11, 2012 Author Posted May 11, 2012 here have some english screens of the twewy characters Quote
Overdriven Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 And we've finally received confirmation on a US release date: July 31, 2012.Source Kickass! Now I'll have something to do once I get done with whichever graphics programs I'm doing over the summer! =D Quote
Mirby Posted May 12, 2012 Author Posted May 12, 2012 in related news, North American 3DS owners will have access to a demo comprising Sora's adventure in Traverse Town along with the co-op minigame Flick Rush at an unspecified date. Yeah all we know is that we're getting it and what's in it. No clue when though; hopefully it won't be like in Japan where the demo came out AFTER the game itself. Quote
