It's a Samson Carbon 49. I've used better controllers, but considering that this is my first keyboard controller that I personally own, it's fulfilling all of my needs in terms of making music. Way better than using my laptop keyboard xD

My parents were really nice to me this year and got me a brand new Fender Squier fretless jazz bass. :3

I also got a copy of The Essential Simon & Garfunkel (), a gift card from the cousins that got me three games on Steam (the complete pack of Super Street Fighter 4, Spec Ops: The Line, and Recettear), and my sister made a hilarious poster of a picture of me photoshopped to look like the cover of the Legend of Johnny Cash album

I had played them for years. Never really understood why I didn't get one myself (probably because my friend across the street had one). Well, after it's 22 (or something like that) years of existence, I actually got one.

I got Professor Layton for 3DS, The Last Story for Wii, some clothes, candy, a hardcover Sonic comic book, an external hard drive, and some cash / gift cards. Used a bit of the money to buy Dark Souls on Steam also. Good stuff!

My wife gave me a preordered Game of Thrones season two, so I'll be getting (and re-watching) that as soon as it comes out. And a warm new jacket, to replace my only other serviceable jacket (a hoodie from my college days).

Add that to a $30 Barnes and Noble gift card, and I'm pretty happy.
