Melbu Frahma Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 There's a great delicacy to the way this mix grows and shrinks again, as if a single misplaced note could shatter it and end it abruptly. I think the artist did an amazing job of capturing the deep emotion surrounding the great source tune and preserving that sense of loss, love and memory in this Remix. It's definitely a track I can set on repeat and just listen to for an hour at a time. Quote
WesternZypher Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 This tune has a slippery feel. It's calming and soothing, but hard to remember after the song is over. Quote
Crulex Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 It's like an odd dream that has its share of quirks, like that rumbling piano in the beginning, but it does start to come together later on. Yes, dream-like quality was definitely achieved for this Remix and I enjoyed it very much. Quote
Necrox Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 The atmosphere really envelopes you on this one. Great work! Quote
nitrozsz Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 It’s an interesting interpretation of Forever Rachel. The first minute and a half was very jarring to me, but then the acoustic guitar and the percussion picks up and my interest picks up. It’s a very haunting take on Forever Rachel. Not the best one I’ve heard from this site, but it’s still unique enough to recommend. Quote
