timaeus222
Am I the only one who sees an unsaid joke? You're "stoked". Your new system can "shoot lasers". You use lasers in Raman Spectroscopy, creating STOKES shifts and ANTISTOKES shifts from the central Rayleigh line. ...No? (I r geek) Okay. Crulex
The ReMix really does pick up after the first minute and keeps hitting it's groove for the rest of the mix. For a rocking ReMix that gets better and better with each second that goes on, this is definitely one that needs to be heard all the way through to get the full experience from. Great mixpost. Brandon Strader
There's issues with sequenced parts sounding very mechanical throughout the entire song, but notably the exposed synths in the intro, and the piano later on. Some humanization would have been nice both with the velocity of notes and the timing of them. The transition at 1:54 was breakneck poor quality. The guitar leads are loud, but the rhythm guitars are a bit too low and indistinct. Personally would have loved to hear this tighter and more refined, but it's not bad. timaeus222
Not bad at all! Obviously some mechanical sequencing on the piano, and that bass at 0:33 was pretty far back (and harmonizing with itself? ), but it definitely got more personalized at 1:30 with the neat chord progression and at 2:23 where the rhythms and harmonies are played with more. Sounds like you locked into a good groove at 3:13. Good work. Edited April 25, 2015 by timaeus222
jnWake
The name of the mix made me expect something (even) more proggish! Some of the synths and guitar parts were very DT-ish though. Anyway, it's nice to have some remixes from this game since it has great music. Like Brandon said, some of the synths in the intro aren't that good, but at least they create a nice atmosphere. Nice job!
Chernabogue
It starts off as an electro/chip track, but quickly evolves into a rock arrangement, with some prog influences (synths especially). Really like the overall arrangement and the atmosphere: it sounds more like "Scenes from a City at Night" to me ^^ Nice choice of instruments and solid production. More please?
