MindWanderer
I'm a sucker for this style of music, even though Dancing Mad has been done to death using it, the Bravely Default source added in keeps it interesting. ("Under the Duchy's Banner" is missing from the remix info, though.) I can see why the judges considered it muddy, but it's a highly entertaining remix and I'm glad it got posted. Necrox
Really nailed the solo section, especially the organ (obvious sound choice for this but still, sweet). I agree that the tone is a bit gritty for this style but great job handling technical errors and submitting a quality mix regardless. DimeTower
This one is a must listen. I can't believe how well this comes through. This isn't epic, it's like... high epic, with all the splendor and power of a regal procession that turns into a brawl in the throne room at 2:45. Really, I'm stunned at how these elements blended together. If you had told me about it in words, I would have said it would have been extremely difficult to pull it off. This doesn't just succeed, it surpasses it. Bonus props for a memorable beginning AND ending! An instant download. What an accomplishment! CyberSkull
I'm a sucker for "Dancing Mad", and getting something arranged with Bravely Default? Sold!
HeavenWraith
Hello, Thanks for all the comments, I'm happy the track made someone's day better I just noticed a few technical issues with the mix post so I figured I'd report. 1) My last two Bravely Default mixes seem to be posted under two different games, see screenshot: 2) There is a mistake in the lyrics that I made in my first submission email. I fixed it in my second submissions email, but never pointed that out (my bad), so the wrong lyrics got posted. This applies to both mixpost page and youtube video description. Paragraph 4, the word in bold needs to be removed: Sotiya forte distanda diverta nihanye. (Sopranos/Altos) Maya farado. (Tenors/Basses) Maya kavera nihaye farado.Sotiya forte distanda diverta nihanyama, fanimaya winasoye! Thanks.

The source tune for Virgin Mojito's was exclusive to the international version of the game (no subtitle). Most of BD's songs would fall under the original JP release of the game (Flying Fairy), though the game association for any ReMixes of it would likely be the international version that most artists played. Sounds complicated, but everything's OK. 2) Will get those lyrics fixes later, thanks for that!
HeavenWraith
Ah, I see, that makes sense. Thanks.
timaeus222
Hm... I'm definitely loving the overall soundscape here. The toms could have had a bit less low end to clear up the low-mids overall, and the kick was a bit "flabby", but not really a big deal. I actually liked the guitar tone, which aggressively shines through at 2:45. The mix was a tad cluttered, but I could still make out most elements, so I'm happy with it overall. The arrangement is clearly well-conceived, and pretty well-executed. Awesome!
jnWake
Nice symphonic metal or whatever this style is called! Guitar playing is sick and I love the organ and choirs. Love how powerful the arrangement and mixing is and how you blended the sources, I didn't even notice it was more than Dancing Mad until I read the description.
