Pi_R_Squared
I like how he completely ignores my offer to co-coordinate it. Waiting can't hurt at all. While we wait, it gives us the chance to plan ahead for... every... single... part, step by step. Something like this can't just be like, one two three. I honestly wouldnt mind waiting a whole year to get it started. But, hey, that's not up to me anymore . So, go ahead, I suggest making a new thread. Tracklist up, with a link to samples. Stay away from setting up WIP dates an' stuff untill things are more definite.
Geoffrey Taucer
I think I'll wait until the FF7 project is done, then try to gather interest and start a topic.
Pi_R_Squared
I guess that isn't a bad idea. I should be waiting for my project to finish up, too. Wouldn't want to over-do it.
Pavos
I think I'll wait until the FF7 project is done, then try to gather interest and start a topic. I don't think that gathering interest will be any problem with KiC2. Good luck with it, already can't wait!
POCKETMAN
Ya sounds awesome. This is why I'm doing the Crocodile Chaos over at OL. (We were gonna call it Kongs in Concert 2...)
Geoffrey Taucer
We are NOT calling this project Kong in Concert 2. I don't know what we will be calling it, but not that.
Chickenwarlord
Diddy's Ditties. If it didn't make the ensuing tracks sound short and commercial-esque, that would be a pretty awesome name. Whistlin' Dixie would be a good track name... Baroque Bannanas Kong Kantata Ape Acoutics I'm not coming up with any naming dynamite unfortunately. POCKETMAN
We are NOT calling this project Kong in Concert 2. I don't know what we will be calling it, but not that. I completely understand. Want me to dig out some names from the OL project, there were some good ones...

Pi_R_Squared
I'm not coming up with any naming dynamite unfortunately. Hey, chill. Haywire Harmonics? If you ask me, you've already done enough on that part. I like's me the sound of Whistlin' Dixie. The OLR names are OK, but none of them really have the tone that "Kong in Concert" did. But that doesn't necessarily mean we need to have some musical significance in the title...
POCKETMAN
Well, play with em, maybe they could branch off into something better... The last couple were ideas brought up from the Original KIC!
Xenon Odyssey
The last couple were ideas brought up from the Original KIC! just about to say that. spent a good deal of my time (like 15 minutes) going through the history thread to find 'em, too! Bundeslang
We have many upcoming projects. Zelda, Tetris Attack, Sonic, Mega Man 4 and many more. They are all going be great, but some projects have problems getting remixers because there are so many. To start a DKC2 project here now isn't the best moment. Let's see what the OLR-project brings to us.

Geoffrey Taucer
Odds are there will pretty much always be a shitload of projects in the works. Now is as good a time as any. Or, well, as soon as the FF7 project is done. I already have plenty of remixers interested.
Geoffrey Taucer
Ok, there seems to be HUGE interest in this. I already have people IMing me at least two or three times a day asking about it, and I've already gotten e-mails from people wishing to submit audition tracks. So just to reiterate: YES, THIS PROJECT WILL HAPPEN. I will start an official project thread and start compiling a list of mixers as soon as the FF7 project is done. Also, before we even start, I'm claiming Mineshaft Meloncholy. EDIT: GAH! I'M GETTING WAY TOO MANY E-MAILS/AIMS ABOUT THIS! I appreciate your enthusiasm, everybody, and it's really encouraging, but please calm down. The project has not started yet and will not start until the FF7 project is done. I am not accepting auditions nor am I allowing people to claim tracks yet (with a few exceptions). Again, nothing against those who have already claimed tracks or sent me auditions; your claims still stand, and to those of you whose auditions I have already accepted, you are still in. BUT PLEASE, NO MORE AUDITION TRACKS OR CLAIMS UNTIL I START A NEW TOPIC. At that point, you will be free to let loose with a barrage of e-mails and AIMs.
POCKETMAN
Everbody who can't get on this project... come join the one on OL, like XO said. We are sky rocketing this projects quality. Even got the intrest of some VGmix and OC mixers.

Pi_R_Squared
Glad someone finally said it. Geoffrey, hope I'm not being a bother, but do you think you could help me on a collab for this project? I've been itching to get something done, and if I'm going to be co-coordinating this project, I at least think I could get something in... Geoffrey Taucer
Depending on how much else I have on my plate, that's a definite maybe.
The Vagrance
I want to also reserve a spot for this as well whenever it starts.
Dafydd
I don't want in, but I really would like to see this happen. It'll probably fare better than the MM4 project too... we just don't have the same fan-base as you do.
