Fyrebhaal
Ok, this is only a theoretical proposition here. If I were to head up a FF8 remix project, using every usable song from the game, what remixers would be in? Who has the balls to remix a song from the greatest final fantasy game. EVER. KyleJCrb
No more remix projects. There's over 10 in progress right now, 5 of which are Square-related, and one of which is already covering a Final Fantasy game. Pretty sure this is in the wrong forum anyway. Dyne
It shouldn't matter what's in the queue. If you want to start something, great, go for it. However, understand that the majority of people are Final Fantasy'd out. I'd say wait til 2007 to start an FFVIII remix project. Until then though, why not do a Metal Gear remix project, or a Megaman X remix project, or even some obscure titled game remix project? I'm sure there's pleny out there to remix. Just find something fun for you.
KyleJCrb
Megaman X remix project That one's sort of in the works (though not officially). To the original poster: If you DO want to start some sort of project, you can try, but be aware that with the massive amount of projects still in the works that potential interest might be pretty dismal... There are a number of projects struggling right now simply because they can't get enough remixers to cover the songs.
Dhsu
Well, technically the guy never said it would be a site project. The OCR queue is pretty crowded with projects already, but if you can gather the manpower, willpower, and hosting to pull this thing together yourself, then more power to ya. I_Love_OC_ReMixes
damn i dont think it'd work because I doubt any remixers here would be willing to spend hours & hours on the project, not to mention the quality has to be good. why not create some FF8 remixes yourself? or with a few remixer buddies? i'd love to hear it! Thin Crust
if this is really a serious project, then i want to hear "the landing" or "attack on dollet". ive seen it called both.
Bundeslang
Megaman X remix project That one's sort of in the works (though not officially). There are a number of projects struggling right now simply because they can't get enough remixers to cover the songs. We have also a Mega Man (4) Remix Project. And it should be a Megaman X2 Remix Project, there are so many remixes of Megaman X1 yet.
Fyrebhaal
if i were to do this, i would be doing almost every song in the game.
