I've got a few tunes here, and was just wondering if people recognize them or if they remind you strongly of a similar track. If you do, post it up and you'll get...I dunno, something. Maybe.

Tune 1- Space Harrier. The theme everybody remixes.

The other two don't remind me of anything though.

The second one reminded me of Animal Crossing, particularly the intro, but it's not it.

The third one sounds very familiar but I cannot put my finger on it.

The third one reminds me of Palom and Porom's theme from FFIV.

The third one remids me of one of the minigame songs from one of the first 3 Mario Party games, but that's probably not it.

Yeah damn I've heard that third one SOMEWHERE. Sounds kind of like the theme of "wacky" character in some JRPG.

Okay, so the reason I made this thread is that all three are original pieces I made for a game I'm working on for my CS senior project. But even though I didn't have any other tracks in mind while composing them, each one sounds so familiar to me that I have a hard time thinking that I didn't totally rip off at least one other video game.

That said, I can definitely hear the Space Harrier and FFIV similarities. Incidentally I've never played Space Harrier or heard the soundtrack...I think (or hope) the two tracks have enough differences though.
