zircon Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 This is something of a side project for me that I started a few weeks ago. The goal is to make 10 tracks featuring a variety of ethnic and electronic sounds mixed together tastefully, with the intent of usage in soundtracks/underscore. I'll be pitching it (when complete) to various people that might use it for those purposes, but I'll probably do some digital download thing too. All songs are short... 2-3 mins max, since it's mostly BGM style. Two complete songs: http://www.soundtempest.net/ET-1.mp3 http://www.soundtempest.net/ET-2.mp3 One wip: http://www.soundtempest.net/ET-3.mp3 Lemme know what you think, and enjoy! Quote
OverCoat Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Been listening to Niyaz lately? I can hook you up with some more world music if you want it. Quote
The Unsung Plumber Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 This is SWEET. I liked on your latest alblum how you did this same style with the song "Antigravity" My favorite is ET-1, I think you fuse the genres together nicely. I would definitely pay money for an alblum of this. Keep it up Andy. Quote
PlastikBag Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 You've really been flooring me lately and this is no exception. ET-1 is definitely my favorite. Can't wait to hear the rest, I'd definitely be willing to pay for this. Quote
Nicole Adams Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 I'm looking forward to this, too. Nice work! Quote
Dhsu Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Very cool. ET-2 reminded me of Shenmue. Now you just need to get some vocals all up in here! Edit: Argh, that was like the worst place ever to end the WIP. :( Quote
zircon Posted July 13, 2007 Author Posted July 13, 2007 Three more tracks done, up to ET-6 now! Check out "Bazaar", track 5, at my MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/zirconst Quote
