  1. I like this one a lot. The soundscape sounds so similar to the actual game - it feels like it would work really well in a Twilight Princess spin off game. Honestly, a lot of the collaborations between Emunator and Chimpazilla sound like they'd work well in a JRPG setting. Something that's more out of the norm, but I could just imagine doing something intense dungeon crawling and grinding enemies while jamming to this. I like it. Really good ending too. Unexpected, but it worked so well in the context of the song. Most def you should download this one.
  2. Oh yah! I know this guy from Mario Maker as well. Really great stuff here. I didn't know you were such a talented producer as well. I hope you return to do more work, OCR needs more like this.
  3. It's the depths with drum and bass! I love the ambience of the source, and even though you went for more of a dance vibe here, you still capture that ambience quite well. The synth work in the bass is stellar, sometimes I'm surprised you didn't sample the source. The additions in the arrangement work very well, and were probably needed for a source like this. Great interpretation here - very hard to pull off but you pulled it off well.
  4. That kick is HEAVY. The groove builds nicely into something catchy. Those strings are very nice. The synth work sounds so good with those strings. Good arrangement too. I almost wish it was a bit longer, but I think it expanded on itself well enough. Great work.
  5. Beautiful piano, the ambience is nice. Electro chill is definitely a good description of this. I could see this being in Metroid Prime as an area background song. It's got a lot of different sections even though it doesn't really change up too dramatically in the song. I wanna take a night drive with this song playing. Good work.
  6. Trippy sounds to start off. Builds very nicely into a rock track that sounds like it could be in Stranger Things. The western vibes it gives off at times are a nice touch, especially the whistle. Very cool sound design and composition. Great job.
  7. Groovy! The synth work is absolutely killer. The drums hit hard, and the way you arranged the source works great. Sir Nuts always has great stuff, and this is no different. The dubstep elements later on in the song are sexy af.
  8. I could see this being a town theme in a big JRPG. Maybe something like the Tales of series. Very well done, I love the brass elements especially. Its very chill but I love that kind of stuff. Good work
  9. I love the drums in this song. These kinds of songs are why I use ride cymbals in every song. Every elements comes together very well and the instrumentation is very professionally done. Good work on this one.
  10. Lol, I was so confused when I clicked a Secret of Mana remix and heard DKC. I thought that OCR screwed up big time. Loving the combination of these two themes. It's clear there was a lot of effort to make these two themes sound like one rather than two different songs played at different times. It's not jarring, but at times it can sound like someone riffing. Not a bad thing though, there's always fun in people just riffing musically. Good work to all of you. Love it lots.
  11. Mazedude definitely ain't lost his touch. The 16-bit funk is strong with this one. That arppegio played throughout is absolutely killer. The detuned instruments flow so well with the song. This might actually be the least weird Mazedude song I've heard in a while in terms of composition, but that doesn't hurt it at all. I wonder if this guy is doing indie game composition? He's got the musical and production chops for a big indie hit. Great work here.
  12. I'm loving the arrangement of this song. The tones you chose with your voice sound great, and the changeups throughout the song with your voice. You have a very similar voice to Tyler Joseph, actually. I wish the vocals were a little louder, though. I think you should really let the voice take control of the song. It's the best part of this all. I would layer it more at some parts (like 4:05) to give it more energy. But that issue may have even sounded fine if vocals were louder. Great job here.
  13. The synth work in this one is really freakin' cool. I like it a lot. Arrangement has a ton of good energy and all the changeups hit hard. The organic instruments blend real well, and the little undertale call-back towards the end was nicely implemented. This is a must listen.
  14. I think I've said this a lot on this website, but this is probably my favorite OCReMix on the site. I sometimes wish it had better mixing and possibly production compared to halc and ben briggs newest works, but I just always feel good when listening to this song. I know every single detail about this song and it's the reason I use chiptune in my songs to this day. Just so good. Definitely something everyone who frequents this site should listen to.
  15. Always liked this one. Such a great energy throughout the song, very uplifting and OA always delivers great drums for his songs. The piano is sugary sweet, the guitar is well played and arranged. Sounds like anime music which I love so two thumbs up. People should listen to this one.
