  3. I've never owned or played Amiga but I can really appreciate this tune and the original composers cyberpunk aesthetic through this beautiful remix. Also a huge fan of the instrument choice, those echoey bells are so iconic reminding me of a few artists in the 90s that used them heavily. This track was a must download for me. I probably download about 5-10% of the remixes I listen to.
  4. A great first remix, and I would of assumed it came from an oldhead, lots of familiar sounding instruments here from the trance/techno heavy era of early oc remix. A great tune and I'll have to check out Lufia / Lufia II have heard great stuff about it.
  5. Yesterday
  6. Played FFV for the first time a few years ago on the ole SNES, and this jam goes so great could see myself just flying around in the airship listening to this with a nice drink and the cat on the lap and the kiddo screaming in the background throwing stuff at me.
  7. Feel like this could be a track on The Downward Spiral when he gets experimental cool stuff.
  8. I dont comment on every track I listen to, but yeah, this is such a sick remix I got to say, the gorillaz nostalgia, gaming music, plus sick original vocals, I am here for it.
  9. A beautiful piece that hopefully helps in peace and recovery.
  10. This kind of thing was begging to be made for decades. This is pretty much perfect.
  11. Very fun, I started listening and right away envisioned Scarlet as the singer without knowing what track was being covered. Great stuff. 😎
  12. Another beautiful classical piece. As I work backwards newest to oldest I continue to enjoy the peaceful sounds and interpretations of RebeccaETripp's remixes. It also gives me a kind of cozy christmas feel, could easily slot this in closer to Christmas! Maybe thats the Harry Potter effect of those movies always releasing around Christmas? I think?
  13. Is there a word in the dictionary to describe a specific type of note or sound just bringing a sense of satisfaction? I don't know if that is just the quality of the mix but it comes through my speakers in a super high fidelity way? This is bomb. I don't really know what's going on, par for the course, but there's zombie chickens at the club or something. Anyway I gotta bring it back to the beginning, that opening is so crisp and clean, it's like a shower for my ears, yeah.
  14. Ooooo this beat goes so hard. Perfect bass for this. Reminds me of my days getting sucked into industrial music for unhealthy long stretches. But we all need a little darkness to appreciate the light! And this is truly a gem of darkness! 💎
  15. Yes! Wow, I only have one FF14 track saved on my youtube playlist, and its this song. They always have amazing music but my Samurai just kind of chilling at the top of the city listening to this tune, ah it was glorious. What a beautiful remix of it, keeps the jazzy downtown vibe with more sax appeal? I don't know, but this is another beaut from ff14. 🔝
  16. This will indeed become an annual album (classic, hopefully like AOCC). :) I will do my utmost to ensure it continues long after this year. ♡ Hope you enjoy it!
  17. Hi everyone! Check out the newest Videogame music arrangement available on YouTube! The City from Animal Crossing: City Folk! https://youtu.be/veu9gKHfE30
  18. "It sounds a bit like a heavy post-rock band trapped in the engine room of a fairly large, fairly haunted shipping vessel. If that doesn't sound great to you, idk what you're even doing here." https://100-percent-roemer.bandcamp.com/track/overday-the-microphone-is-3-electric-guitars

  20. I hope this starts an annuel thing (Like the Overclocked Christmas)... Last Halloween Album I downloaded from here was "Candy Corn" .... Keep up the amazing work ... Cheers!
  21. It might sound something like this....... It's kind of a compilation mix in which I did gameplay music, storyline music, and perhaps even some ending music. It's highly inspired from old school games but it's completely original music. Its pretty much all Cinematic Studio Series. What do you think? Does this have old school Super Mario vibes? Please....critique away and tell me the good, bad, and the ugly.
  22. From the ashes of a fallen kingdom, the echoes of Metropolis of Ruin rise once more. My rock/metal cover of this Demon’s Crest theme has taken flight — a requiem born of fire, shadow, and memory. Rock on!
  23. Hi all! I'm working on a project to recreate the 1990s Goof Troop cartoon theme song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hq65oOtwRdM) for the original SNES game. The goal is to add it to the game's title screen as a ROM hack. I found this version someone made to sound like a Genesis game, but it was made with a VST in a normal composition tool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20SOO4AmLl8 Do y'all know any folk who are really good with SNES' assembly-based music formats (particularly Capcom's) and making chiptunes sound good? Would love to collaborate. I'm in a Discord server with the guys who have already modded the game and made an editor, but I think we need someone who can make the brrs really sing. ;D Thank you!
  24. Ok the website has been updated guys and everyone's credits and contributions are properly on there now, and in the .txt file, and you can now listen to the songs and download them directly via the hosting site!! Woo!! \o/ Thank you colorado weeks for putting in the extra graft, and Argle for doing the metadata tags on the MP3 files, and showing me how to do them! Have a wonderful November everybody! https://overclockedhalloween.boo/
  25. :0 I love that song! \o/ You should totally do it!
  26. Oh Yes! Yes! This is the sound. This glorious sound! We've forgotten the sound for so long.
  27. If I do join, I'm thinking of doing "Another Winter" from Scott PIlgrim vs The World...
  28. You're correct. This is intentional, but I can hear the issue. I would like to have an Emaj13 chord there. I might have to change that section entirely or figure out what to do with that part.
  29. Nah, no worries, seriously! Organizing an album project with many people involved is not as easy as it might look like from the outside, and even less so when real life stuff gets in the way. It's very likely to miss things and commit extremely minor but somewhat embarrassing mistakes and more stuff like that. That happens to me ALL the time with my own stuff too haha, and I'm always doing stuff with lots of people involved. The thing with the right subforum to post the thread is not a big deal either. If I were you I might hesitate about bothering people in General, because maybe doubting about how appropiate or how important or worth it is, as I also tend to have this kind of thoughts. "Post your remixes" sounds more fitting if weren't because that's more like "Post OUR remixes" with so many other people involved. So totally understandable And regardless of all that, you did an excellent work organizing, seeking for people interested and especially on the mastering for all tracks. I wasn't confident with my own mixing but the way it sounds now in the album version I can quite notice the improvement, and how you tamed the annoying fluctuation of frequencies and other issues that are pretty common in my own mixes, and all sounds quite smooth in comparision. Can't wait for next year to craft more spooky stuff for this if you plan to do this as a yearly thing!
