  3. I agree some great ideas. I really enjoy some of the synth choices and the way the in-game sound effects have their little "percussive" moments. I just find some of the notes in the beginning either don't fit or are out of tune. Things get much better as the track goes along though. Keep working on it.

  4. This is like being out at a fine restaurant with an excellent bottle of wine on a cool evening with a comfortable romance across from you - elegant and calm, beautiful and easy. Special props to the thoughtful, almost sit-back-and-look-at-the-sky contemplative take on the Rebel Army theme. Gorgeous, and a welcome counterpoint to what I've heard on the rest of the album. This kind of simplicity lets me appreciate the hard rocking all the more.

  5. What just happened to me?!? Oh my heavens. Even those who can't handle total crazy - and trust me, my eyebrows almost raised off my head at the first 30 seconds - need to listen to 1:00 through 2:30 AT MINIMUM, particularly the breakdowns starting around 2:00 - these are some really talented interpretations of the source. Of course, the piece, as a whole, is completely dunked in a frying vat of insanity, but even that can't totally hide the talent underneath. I'm not sure I can recommend this - but man, you should at least give it a try.

  6. This starts off as a decent cover of the Imperial Army Theme until about 1:40, where everything gets thrown several steps up the awesome ladder. By the time we're at 2:20-245 plus, get ready to grab your stones and torches. There is an uprising, with a sword raised to the sky and a defiant shout at the relentlessly approaching imperial army. Man, this mix really gets better as it goes along. Interesting ending too! Do yourself a favor and keep listening past the first minute. Great stuff awaits.

  7. This mix is the best acid trip you've ever taken. First and foremost, I love Find Your Way, and to see it used as a backbone of FF2 themes is shocking and tremendously impressive, especially in that it is supporting both quiet and rocking sections with equal aplomb. The transition at 2:55 is stellar - I can barely believe how the mix shifts - and the pace gets dialed down harder and ramped up faster as the piece goes along. It's like being on a ride in which two people are fighting over the power controls.... and yet it works, and works in ways that are truly wondrous. The sailing ending truly left me amazed at the range of the piece. FULL COMMENDATIONS to the artist and this piece - an instant download and joy!

  8. An interpretation best listened to if you're very familiar with Prelude, but within that sphere this arrangement crushes its goal. Echoes to other posters that mention the pulling together of the piece post-2:15. The best thing I can say is that this is truly a refreshing AND great take on Prelude, which is a really hard combo to do! If the rest of the album has this level of talent, I'm getting it!

  9. Finally, it is so great to see it released, I remember seeing this album growing in the forums when I wasn't even in OCRemix and now I can listen to it (wich is great because the OST of FFII is one of my favourites). Good Job

  14. Still waiting for guitar parts. Other than that my tracks only need more work on the mixing. Due to a short holiday next week I expect to send the finished tracks either on the deadline day or maybe a day before. So yeah, my birthday gift will be late
