  1. In the interest of making the forums easier to sign up for and more accessible to everyone, we've made some changes to registration. In the past, we've had it so that new accounts had to be manually vetted and activated; this was to avoid spam accounts and the like. This worked, but a side-effect was that new members couldn't engage in the community immediately and would become discouraged from participating. To move forward, we've done the following things: Updated our manual registration form to use the latest reCAPTCHA. This is to help fight spam accounts. Removed administrator approval from the registration process. New members will be able to post immediately following email verification. Enabled new members to register using their social media accounts. New members can now use Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ to register. If you're already registered for the forums, you can link your existing forum account to any/all of your social media accounts by going to your Account Settings and clicking the relevant links. Once you do so, you'll be able to use your social media account to sign-in, as opposed to a traditional username/password sign-in. If you have any friends who are interested in OC ReMix but haven't joined the forums, get 'em over here and get 'em involved! Between album projects, competitions, and gaming discussions, there's a lot to do here. If you run into any registration or account linking issues, please let us know right here in this thread. Thanks!

  2. Double-posting because deal with it We're getting good stuff in. WAV of "Let Me Know The Truth" from RiverSound, and "Prelude" from Rexy, two of the key songs we needed for the album. I am trying to get in touch with some other people to see if they're still doing stuff. The list of unclaimed songs got removed, recruitment is over. I think I'll end up doing "Deep Under the Water" since it's one of my favorites and it ended up on the cutting floor. Hopefully I don't have to do Elia too, I am still trying to find out what's up with kate and see if she's going to do it. As previously mentioned Sir Jordanius is also missing... If we figure out where everybody is and get things moving again, we could potentially be pretty close to finishing this off. --------- Cutting has taken place. If you don't see your claim listed anymore but still want to finish your song, please let me know. S E R I O U S B U S I N E S S

  3. Parappa The Rapper EP Project Director: Cole Train (Blacimar) Artist(s): [Needed] Web Designer: [Needed] Trailer: [Wanted] Project Overview Sheet So, Parappa the Rapper! It's great, and I love the cheesy music in that game. But there isn't much representation of it on this site, which I find weird given that it in a way invented the rhythm game genre as it is. But I'm out to give the game the treatment it deserves with this EP. The idea of this project is simple and something original for OCRemix. I'm planning for this to be an album composed of only vocal remixes. Hip hop/rap and R&B vocal remixes at that. No album on Overclocked (that I know of) has done either of those, and probably for good reason. Vocal remixes are for certain hated by some, but given the game that this is, in my eyes it would be criminal if this wasn't a full force hip hop album. So What's Needed? Well, as you can see above, we need the normal jazz for albums: An artist for one of those amazing album covers, a web designer to, well, design the website for the album to be hosted on, and someone to make a trailer for the album. Other than that, we of course need our music artists, who I'm gonna be checking in with and be in contact with, who are going to remix eight tracks from the game. If you want to claim a track, reply to this thread, pm, or email (nathanocole@gmail.com) me expressing interest, describing what you wanna do with the track of your choice (as in style and idea). Singers, those who play an instrument(s), vocalists, and other rappers who don't claim a track who aren't in a group/cooperation for a track will be put in the collaborators section along with their skill. Just reply to this thread or pm/email me expressing interest with previous work if you want to be a collaborator. From there, artists working on their track could reach out to you to get you on. Tracks Remember folks, diverse styles of hip hop are encouraged, so don't be afraid to let your creativity let loose. Any subgenre of hip hop, from jazz hop, gangsta rap, rap metal, trap, and anything in between is fair game. WIP deadlines will be discussed at a later time, but I have no deadline for the EP to be out. Take the time to make sure you're 200 percent satisfied with your tracks I say. If you show to me a lack of effort or care on your part to me though, I won't hesitate to drop you from the project, be mindful of that. Also if you have an idea for one of the smaller tracks from the game that aren't listed below (Maybe you got a mean idea for Jet Baby, I dunno), contact me about that as well. Remixes of those could be added. Maybe we could call this an album at some point instead of an EP (wishful thinking, I know). 4. @halc & @zykO would be great additions to. And yes... I don't know if it WILL happen, but Assembled doing the all master's rap NEEDS to happen... so hopefully it DOES

  5. Yeah, I feel you and agree with that. I was just about to try and get in touch with Assembled about that this weekend actually, along with maybe others like Halc or Zyko. To be honest, I was imagining how godly the live rap and/or all master's rap would be with all of Assembled.

  8. Hahaha. I got nowhere for like a week in Bloodborne and cried like a bitch. And look at me now. Really looking forward to Dark Souls 3, even though I know it's gonna make me a bitch again.

  9. Thank you friends. To help bring this to life really is special. It's the last big piece of the tri-FF experience (in hindsight that would have been a cool title for a triple-album). To work on these sibling albums for FF NES Trilogy has been a great experience and I appreciate everyone who helped create this whole thing. After losing ff9, it took working with so many brilliant artists to even give me the confidence to try doing a large album again. (FF1 and FF2 are around 20 songs each, not all that large). So in other words... gosh, thanks guys. You are an inspiration, and each WIP brings me much joy, like seeing a duck walking next to a pond. OK, so we have an album the size of FF1 or FF2 already finished here. That's awesome. But we still have roughly the size of another album left to finish. (half done...) But we can do it, I've seen it with 2 albums already.
