I have upgraded DS394's track to Orange Status, as it is a complete (not finished) track; however, the track still needs a name, @DS394! And thanks again to 'The Flash' @Starphoenix for claiming Macbeth from SF SNES! That makes 20 claimed tracks - 10 for each album! Now we are just FOUR TRACKS AWAY from reaching our first goal of 24 tracks! ___ If anyone is looking for suggestions, here are a few tracks that I would really like to see claimed for the album that haven't been yet: Asteroid Belt / Meteo (SF64) The Awesome Black Hole (w/map select - SF SNES) Sector Y (SF SNES) Out of This Dimension (SF SNES) Andross... (any/all games) That being said, all unclaimed tracks are still open. Let us know if you want in!

Slimy's claim on 'various Star Fox themes' will probably have some of the same melodies, but his focus is on ending themes; I have no claims for medleys that spread to the Menu Theme or Stage Clear theme specifically. I say go for it. I'm a big fan of creativity, so mix it up and see what happens! I'll put you down for the Stage Clear. This is also OK! Bolse is now yours. Claimed! ---- I would also like to announce that @JulienMulard has claimed Aquas! He's be moving in an electro-metal direction with his track and will be trying to combine both the SF64 theme with the SF Command theme. Can't wait to hear his first WIP! Welcome aboard, Julien! ---- I'm loving all this activity. We have quite a few WIPs as well and there is some awesome music being created for this project. We have TWO TRACKS LEFT to be claimed for the first disc to reach the first goal...! Thanks to everyone for their help in bringing @Thomas Neil's idea to light. This is going to be great! There are still lots of tracks left to claim - let us know if you want in!

Thanks! There's probably some more tweaks that I'll make to my track, but I kind of just hit a good stride and things just fell in place that way. Actually been solicited to work on a second track, so I'm going to kick around some ideas and see what I can come up with.

I don't do a ton of editing, but have always used and liked Adobe Premiere. I bought the Elements version of it and it's done everything I've needed thus far. As far as screen capture, there are quite a few options out there these days. If you haven't yet, check out OBS (open broadcaster software). It's free, can do both streaming and capturing to file and is highly customizable. You can set it to record a specific window, put in overlays, record audio from mic, and record webcam footage.

Really excited to hear what some of the other remixers have been cooking up. Getting closer to getting both CDs filled, which is exciting!

"Only Link can do the Duck Walk" That is your new title, lol. I think this is a pretty slick arrangement. I'm loving the combination of FM synths and NES style chiptunes. The source is clear, and it blends spectacularly well with the Zelda title source. I know you asked for extra ears, and it doesn't help much when someone says they can't hear anything that they think would improve it, but there's not much I can say. It's beautiful ear candy, and it's a neat idea to blend the Wand of Gamelon with the original Zelda source like that. The absolute cheese factor of many of those synths just adds to the appeal, as well. Solid stuff, I hope to hear it on the panel.

Oh yeah, I was never 100% sure on the vocals. While I had originally considered getting a female vocalist, I wanted to go for a more relaxed feeling mix. I'm pretty set on them now, but I need to do a little work on the mix itself - It isn't matching up with the vocals quite as well as I'd like. Rerecording them is unlikely at this point anyways, but I think I can work with it. Glad you enjoyed it! I'm not sure if I'll submit it (it probably won't change much structurally and may not be distinct enough to pass), but I do want to actually finish it.

Man, Mystic Invasion is such a good track. Shame no one has taken up that as their source. I would, but I'm neither a published mixer and am involved with other projects the moment. However, my day job is as a web developer, so I can probably assist with site needs. Just shoot me a PM with what the team is looking for and I'll make some recommendations.
