  1. Super Audio Cart has replicated SNES sounds (as well as exact samples from Famicom, C64, GB, SMS, 2600, GEN, NES), with an extensive 4-layer synthesis engine, mod matrix, fx rack, etc. Comes with over 1000 presets. May be worth looking at! https://impactsoundworks.com/product/super-audio-cart/

  2. Not that he has a personal attachment to SAC or anything But nah, it is easily the best instrument on the market for this kinda stuff. Anyway, nice job on the remake.

  4. Just for shits and giggles - here's the drum and bass version of the Wicked Child to show how exactly I arranged 'em. Also to show the bass tone what I got from mixing Laney IRT Pulse guitar preamp for the growl and an amp sim from Studio One for the low tones

  5. I did a veeery long research to find the actual sounds from the SNES and i did on some forum , although later i found out that there are hacker tools that can help you extract the actual sounds from the .rom of the game. Still it wasn't easy to find what exactly David Wise used to make it ,especially the loop.i used the correct sounds by ear. If i remember the forum that i got the sounds from i'll provide with a link Thank you for your kind words!

  6. I can't tell you how much I hate this mix... Hate it for making me like it so much. It's as goddamn catchy as the song it pays homage to. I need ear bleach now.

  7. You know, I have to agree with the YouTube guy... What about the others OST from DKC family ??? Some of them only appear on the albums of the trilogy, and are so awesome and underrated :/ This remix is indeed very good, but I'd like to see some of Life in the Mines, Boss Bossanova, Rockface Rumble and more !!!! Please let's take a break (only a bit) on Fear Factory, Aquatic Ambiance, and listen more to the full OST of this masterpiece, I'm sure some stuff can come alive. ;)

  8. I think Callum put up a particularly solid vocal performance---with good clarity/enunciation, and the mixing by Jorito is overall fairly clean. I also like how the lyrics contain to-be-expected rickrolling references, but not in a forced way. I really dig the intentionally crunchy production, and I appreciate the dedication to fine-tuning this packed soundscape. Eino kinda has a thing for controlled chaos, it seems! Plus, who can deny the swagger in the half-time rhythm?

  9. As the 'organ donor' (heh, couldn't resist) to this track, I very much appreciate the feedback, many thanks!
