  1. That's good! So i take it, you may be editing and creating things in the compo? Or do i need to ask for permission. I joined the compo group....haven't been accepted yet (I think it's inactive). There isn't any problems as of now though. Honestly i don't really rely on an exact time. I just end it on that day, and that's really it. 2 weeks to compose, 1 week to vote. Simple. Thanks for all your help anyways. There is such good VGM music out there, with only a huge chunk being ignored. It's always the Mario or FF that get the love, which is fine, but that directs the listener to the cliche, than the interesting. People could discover some really great obscure VGM, and thanks to this people can get the oppertunity to listen and attempt to give light to a great soundtrack. Now that i have flexibility in both platforms you can submit to ThaSauce! What's good though, is you don't have to use the platform. You can choose between that platform or this thread! This can attract new patrons from ThaSauce! But seriously though i can't thank you enough. I actually have something to do on the quiet rainy days when i'm not working on stuff.

  3. Posted it on ThaSauce http://compo.thasauce.net/rounds/view/StW1 This link can be used to submit your songs. @TheVideoGamer I Just copy pasted information from the first post in the topic. I don't know the exact end time from the round, put it now equal to PRC (11:00 AM ThaSauce Time) but I don't know if that time is good for you, just let me know if you want this or any other things changed.

  5. I think this is a cool idea. I'm probably going to do a remix of "Stage 2C" (that's what the midi said but I think it's "Sentinel Complex"). Is Battletoads an option for a pick (classic game but not many remixes on this site).

  6. Today's video game to remix is here, it's also on the top of the first page as well. Current games in the wheel: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xxoGX4bS2_q_URpN35K8b9oGn1zogHiRxLarik38IZU/edit?usp=sharing The Wheel in Action! https://imgur.com/a/HJGDf7H Lets SPIN THE WHEEL! It landed on SEGA GENESIS! The random game that was chosen is....... X-Men 2! Download available MIDI files here! https://www.khinsider.com/midi/genesis/x-men-2-clone-wars Listen to the Soundtrack: Information about the Game and Soundtrack: X-Men 2 was a game developed by Headgames Inc and at the time was fairly successful. It involves the X-Men trying to stop a virus out-break. The game was met with somewhat decent reviews, but wasn't considered a fantastic game. The music was scored by Kurt Harland who was an active member and founder of the electro band, Information Society. The music follows in the vain of Electro, with some techno elements, ambient influences and industrial textures. Some contributions from Mark Miller, (The infamous GEMS creator) are also present in the score, who also helped convert the music to the system. What's interesting to note is how it used a mailbox system. You essentially had a different character, and for each character a different melody would play, but of course still keeping the harmony. So it was different music, almost everytime. Compo starts Today at 8th December 2018! and finishes at 22nd December 2018! Voting begins on the 22nd December 2018 and finishes on the 29th December 2018. I will inform you who has won on the thread! Please submit a valid mp3 file, in decent quality that is less than 20mb. It must be easy to access and download. I recommend using SoundCloud as a choice of service! Add a link here on this thread, if you can. You have 2 weeks to mix! Let's see what you have come up with!
