A lot of people are interested in the record scratches lol. It’s just a combination of samples pitched. As for effects in general, only delay and reverb are really used. Rest remains unchanged. I only realised after uploading I might have needed more reverb in some parts. Drums are a combination of a DnB break and reggae samples from a pack. Oh well thanks anyways!

Just the other day I saw the track was in the to-be-posted queue. And now here it is. Uh, merry... late summer? (also Ophilia best girl indeed) For Rexy's benefit: I was playing around with the 1:48 part of source from 3:18 to 4:18, followed by some minor scale variants of melody A until 4:48. (insert appropriate sneaky fox meme here) It's worth saying I really enjoy Rexy's analyses of remixes. She's got a crazy in-depth one of Dragonfood, and I keep coming back to that one to remind myself I've made something that someone has listened _that_ closely to.

Same feeling regarding first half. I'm gonna find a way to make a monostereo "warbly" synth that is much more 80's, then I will double the length of 2nd portion with perhaps a touch of original writing. That might be fun to do. Gotta get off my ass to do it though. Thanks for feedback

No, I love listening to my own music. You write a lot of dance music, right? Mostly electro-house and complextro? Maybe try writing in a completely new genre or outside of traditional genres.
