Multiple people can review the same album without the universe colliding onto itself. In fact, thats a lot of how this industry actually works.

I hope you mean expanded versions of the ones that were available on your site for free download, otherwise... well, you know where I'm leading to there... $5 ain't bad, I might be able to get it this week if I squeeze some pennies on my weekly budget.

That song is forgettable, not horrible. There is a difference there. Any case, can you find a higher quality version of that or another track? The compression in the youtube video makes it hard to get a really clear idea of what sound you're looking for and how to really achieve it.

How hard could it be to dig up footage? Just go to youtube, find a a few playthroughs with decent video quality and ask the author if he might donate the video files to the project. Or one of us could video record a playthrough for a few hours.

So the new Mega Man 9 remix album video at the front page springs to mind - what happened to the trailer we were working on? Rozo, tried emailing you but not sure if it got through (my email does that sometimes), figured it was easier just to ask here for all to see and know. Any progress?

Wow, THIS was a nice surprise to an otherwise dull Monday! I greatly appreciate your attention and acclamation. Awesome review, 'blix. You went into a lot more detail than I would've expected. I would've LOVED to completely overhaul the tracks on here if I had the time and resources to do so, but all I could really afford to do where to mix them much better and get Usa to master them (there's also the problem that I don't have the project files to a few of these anymore). I'm really glad and sort of surprised people are enjoying this as much as they are because some of the tracks (Asymmetrical, Temporal Lobe, Tempest Rush in particular) really are that strange and don't work as well as they should. Part of that is using GM collection soundfonts to replace a 16-32bit sound, another part were the weird directions I received when I was working on them ("Exploring the Temporal Lobe, etc." for example, was literally that. The guy told me he wanted a short weird track that was something you could explore someone's brain with and be used as a standoff scene later) and because they're old and I wasn't very good years ago. So absolutely if some tracks on here suck, go ahead and say it. It's a free country. I owe you an album review, 'blix. Send me a copy of your dnb album when it comes out and I'll return the favor. Edit: Also, its actually the cheapest GM Banjo sample I have and not a Koto.

Well, and I wasn't too clear originally, you have to dig around in the program files to find it, but the samples themselves are loaded from a .sf2 file apparently and that means you can just load it as a soundfont if you want.

I didn't care for the Mini Erhu but the Mini DiZi is one of the best flutes I've ever used. Back in the day I used to use it for a lot of stuff and I wish I could figure out now what I did to make it sound so good. Best part, if you don't want to install another VST, you can actually find an .sf2 file and just load it as a soundfont. Yeah I love that thing, I think I should buy the full version of it someday.

I remember once that George "The Fat Man" Sanger, once said that the videogame composer industry is so young, no one who works in it has died yet. I understand how busy everyone is and there's work that goes into posting one, but it doesn't make it easier to understand as the backlog, at this rate, is going to grow more and more. I'd just like to understand the backlog better.
