  1. Yeah, it does! I don't think I've seen any other SNES game with so much voice acting. I'm glad the song numbers are equal now though. It'll be exciting to see which songs end up on the project as secondary mixes. I bet Dhsu would make an awesome piano mix! I've been listening to Kong in Concert lately and love the part with him and SnappleMan. ...and, er... is it just me, or am I the only person who happens to think it's called "The Dream Is Endless"?
  2. If you sign up for Aviators, you can do one of those songs too! ...and we'd love you for helping out. XD
  3. Nono, I meant I was absolutely confused as to what made you choose that domain name in particular. ...now the joke is lost! Forever! What's wrong with me? XD
  4. So you got that domain name you wanted! (I wonder why...) Nice work!
  5. We just need a mixer for the last ToP song, no big problem. ^^
  6. Ask DJP to mix! Has anyone actually ever done that? What a crazy idea. XD Anyway, it'll work out. ToP will be covered in full!
  7. Maybe PM Lee Lewis and see if he'll fill in the last track for ToP. He'll probably want to choose whatever he wants though, that rebellious guy. XD This is a subliminal message. Harmonious Moment rocks. Harmonious Moment rocks. Raising a Curtain also rocks. Open Fire too. You people better cover these as your alternate tracks. This has been a subliminal message.
  8. April Fools! There is no project! Just a fake site and a big, fake thread full of fake posts! Ah-hah-hah-haaaa! (Joking.)
  9. I like really long introductions, but this time I just meant the part where the synth was flying around. I guess it adds to the suspense. XD
  10. Does this apply to Overcoat? I liked the arrangement a lot! I didn't think the intro was interesting enough to go on for a full 30 seconds though. I'll focus on what I thought of the sounds for now. ^^ The piano didn't sound bad when the mix was thick. The kick drum reminded me of something from FL but EQ'ed a little. Personally, I think it would help the dancy feel if it actually stood out a little less. Good job on making a really "cold" sounding WIP! Looking forward to more!
  11. The synth at the beginning is a bit "plunky" for my liking. I like the pad in the background, very subtle. The harp runs are pretty cool, but are maybe a bit too much up front and take the attention away from the melody. The melody by the way, could use a little variation. After all, it's the same four chords and melody being repeated for a full minute, so both melodic and harmonic variation would add to the interest of the song. The drums fading in is a good idea but could be a little more smooth and have some velocity editing on the hi-hat. The transition is definitely better now, it's kind of interesting how it's the same musical idea fading into itself but with different instrumentation. Even so, it might be better in the end to progress to something a little more fresh to the listener after the introduction. Glad to see the bass is up front. ^^ EDIT: Oh, it's different now! XD Okay, well I won't say much about the guitar's sound because I'm sure it's just intended as a "placeholder" for the real stuff. The strum would sound better a little smoother though (offset a notes just a tiny bit less), and with some ornamentation in between the chords. You did say you aren't too familiar with the way guitar parts are, so Prizm and I can help you with that along the way if you'd like.
  12. That's what I meant when I said "dive into a dramatic piano solo"! Very lovely!
  13. Harp too! I actually have a plan, but I can't tell anyone yet. ^-^
  14. I'd like to hear! Do you have any samples available?
  15. Holy crap, are you good or what? XD (That's a nice range.)
  16. It's in E Major, but there are various harmonic functions in it that can be misleading. I'll look at it more later when I have some time. ^^ The tonic is always descending chromatically, but otherwise, it's in E.
  17. Hah! We never leave the topic, because we're all-business, top-quality workers! Our project is Grade AAA! That's right, so whomever the jerk was that brought up ABBA, you'd better get serious real quick!
  18. Hey, I come from UnMod; I'm pretty used to threadjacking! So, how bout' that new ABBA album?
  19. Yeah, just thought I'd offer. ^^ Of course, I already had an arrangement figured out. I almost never offer to sign up unless I have a good idea first. Anyway, I hope Lewis does end up on the project. There better not be more ToS songs than ToP songs! The soundtrack war will be fought valiantly by both sides!
  20. The opening and closing themes should have been something like a 40-way collab. XD Nice job on the advice, Prizm. Sorry, I totally forgot you already offered to do the guitars.
  21. I'll record guitars for you if you want me to. o_O; Just send me the sheet music or tab when you're done. ...and I hope there's time to think, because there are so many awesome songs, it's a big dilemma. XD EDIT: I see Castle of Dhaos was removed from the listing... if it was because nobody was picking it up, I'd be happy to do it. As long as it doesn't count as my one "extra" song.
  22. I solo'ed Baphomets on Ragnarok Online with my level 98 Assassin. That was really hard. For RPGs, a really hard boss was that guy near the end of Sion's part in Rudra no Hihou. The guy you fight after killing Rudra. He slaughtered me about a dozen times.
  23. Certainly a nice interpretation of the theme. I particularly enjoyed the elaboration in the third minute. It's too bad it was delayed by five months though. Maybe BogusRed was waiting for an answer from Native Instruments support.
  24. Let's just all be friends! VGMix and OCRemix, walking hand-in-hand down the road towards the sunset. Lovely. I'll comment on your sample song later on when I can listen to it on my good speakers. ^^
