  1. Yeah, don't worry about it Arek! All sorts of things come out of nowhere. I hope you'll end up finding the time anyway!
  2. Orgulla from Xenosaga II is really hard. She can combo boost herself and go like 3-5 times in a row, airing and downing your characters. She can do 900 damage to a character without Ice Coat, even without doing her strength-buffing move. She can poison you, heal herself, and heal status effects you cast on her. She can hit everyone at once for high damage, and she will hit the person with the lowest HP. The fight in FF:Tactics where you can steal the Genji equipment is pretty hard, and extremely hard if you go for the stealing.
  3. Probably cause' your Secret of Mana mix rocked!
  4. *ahem* Harmonious Moment please! ^^ Have fun on your trip, Usa!
  5. Since the site isn't working for me right now, I'll just say it here! That's a pretty interesting song! It's creepy in a way and really brings out how frightening it'd be to wander around in a mysterious and ancient civilization with robotic computer voices calling out to you. I really like the concept of the song you came up with. Makes me think of ToP survival horror, but with scary robots instead of zombies. XD Or maybe Thorian zombies! Since I thought the production was great, I'll just express a few personal preferences about what could be added or changed. I liked how it ended, with the little percussion part. It'd be cool if you extended that and made it fade out slowly, and after it was almost gone it could do the sort of "technical crash/wind-down" thing anyway, really loud. Throughout it felt like I was lost in the technical sounds, which has a cool effect, but a little more timbral and pacing variation would really add to the mix. If there were some spacey, slower part in the middle. It'd be cool if a very clear chime-type noise appeared with the main melody somewhere either above or deep inside the chaos of the song. For a contrasting effect! Actually, in the whole first minute I expected some hyper-fast breakbeat to emerge. Your percussion was pretty cool! Reminded me of Battery 2, which I use. The synth that appears at 2:25 could be just a tad bit quieter. So, that was just me rambling my thoughts. You don't have to take it seriously! XD
  6. Congratulations to DS and all the mixers involved! Great work organizing and seeing this project through to the end! The torrent is downloading now, so I can't wait to hear everything. (The least we can do as thanks for good free music is to seed, right?)
  7. Cool! The opening is so weird. I like it. The drums are pretty interesting too. This mix really makes you stop and think about just how bizarre Kirby games are. XD
  8. I always thought of it as, "Kuraudo Show". Just seemed like the sort of thing you'd pronouce in Japanese.
  9. The ranks are at last complete, let the rocking begin! ^-^
  10. Nono, I think it was just the old title that was better! ^-^
  11. Well, since you said when you claim a second track you have to absolutely guarantee that you will complete both tracks, (a good policy) people might be waiting to get enough work done on their original track to make sure both will be done in a reasonable time. I know that's what I'm doing. ^^
  12. Lunar, nice WIP! The percussion is pretty cool. The snare really is way too dry though! I really like the plucked instrument that appears in the last few seconds. Hope to hear more! (What a battle it'll be, between the Sheena's Theme contenders...) Triumph is a really great song. I just got 3/4 through Star Ocean 1 and I'm starting to like Sakuraba more and more. (Though I've been a fan for years!) I'd like to do that, but I already have my alternate song partially composed. I hope somebody else will do Triumph too. Still awesome, Fox! I liked the old title better though. XD PS: Has there been any word from Eric Dude, Kyle? I love Desolate Road and would like to hear from him on here. ^^
  13. I really know where you're coming from. I think the decision you made considering your circumstances was the most mature and logical thing you could have done. Good luck with all the great stuff going on in your life!
  14. You can go to some hacker forum or something and find a security exploit and run a couple programs and then the site/forums are yours. That's why it's good to always update your browser/PHP thing/server/whatever! Fox, you already know what I think of your WIP! ^^ It's awesome! But I'm gonna listen to this one just in case it's updated from what I heard. Arcana, I like that you take a good amount of time to plan your work. I never start working until I have the whole structure in my head too, at least when it's something serious or bigger. Glad you're doing check-ins, Kyle! It'll probably keep things going smoothly if everyone hears from you. (I might slack off and need a check-in in a few weeks, too. XD)
  15. The link in Sir Nuts' sig leads to a "hacked" site. I think it was the old site. XD
  16. Did you come up with a title yet? And I'm guessing nobody wants to pick up an extra song...? I'd love to and most likely will! But I won't make it official yet so I can be 100% sure to finish both in time. I intend to be finished all songs by the WIP date. ^-^
  17. It won't take six months if Lea keeps it up with her righteous and well-deserved whip cracking! Vacation? Vacations are for the weak! ^-^
  18. No! This is a dictatorship! Work faster, slaves!
  19. I think Kyle wouldn't mind changing the track-sequence. I suggest asking him when he returns. Or ask Lea about it. Considered it, but no go. I want to keep the tracks from each game seperate, and RTF's track is in Phantasia, while Ichi's is from Symphonia. And with that, this is likely the last you'll hear from me (well, maybe one or two more times) this weekend, as I'll be gone. Try not to raise too much of a fuss or give Lea a hard time, okay? *Raises his pitchfork BURN DOWN THE HEATHENS!!! *Raises Cross* BURN DOWN THE HEAVENS!!! ^-^ My SPC file for that song does the same thing. It's hard to listen to. XD ...and 6 months? I know other projects have taken a really long time, but I can't really see why this would take so long with so many people on it. I don't think it's really worth all the time waiting for a couple really slow people, or unresponsive people if that sort of thing happens. I think the mixers here are capable of making a good song in less than two or three months, surely... Sir Nuts and Red Tailed Fox already have relatively long WIPs. A quick and decisive project workflow from beginning to end would be great!
  20. Don't bother! I have Cubase and Logic and STILL use FL5. Except when I'm gettin' into serious business. XD
  21. Oh yeah! I totally forgot you said I could take another track after a week or so if there were still any left. Oh well, I still have my secondary mix. Glad to have you onboard, Dhsu!
  22. The PS Version messed up all the songs, sorta. I really like the original SPC versions way better. I can't say I've heard "Yume wa..." from the PS one though.
