I don't think of samples as an alternative, just a substitute for what's unavailable. I don't always have 60,000$ on hand to hire large ensembles. If the live instruments present themselves, I'll definitely use them. I would be SO insulted. XD I hope you whipped out your guitar and showed them the difference.

I agree. The guitars were the best samples I've ever heard, but it was still pretty obvious they weren't real. That first demo song was really cool though, so the listen was worth it. Oh, yeah! I noticed Alan Lastufka did that other library they have. He sure does get around, huh?

Gotta disagree with you, again. The latest guitar libraries are so expressive and filled with perfomance nuances processed in real time with stuff like self-generating harmonic feedback (and so forth), that you'd be extremely hard pressed to tell the difference between samples and the real thing. I haven't heard the latest guitar libraries, having never been without live guitar, but I'd be interested in hearing their progress if it's really as good as you say. (And I believe you!)

I will play electric guitar for anyone. Any difficulty or genre is fine. Requests should tell me a bit about the guitar tone they want for the song as well.

Yeah, with Photoshop you can customize your brushes to make it look like you painted it with any medium imaginable. Actually, Corel Painter (IX) is even better for that, since there are a billion brushes and things already built in. I have Photoshop since my hobby is drawing and CG coloring, but my friend is a real artist and uses all those programs, so I can definitely vouch for Painter even without much personal experience. Arek, you've done a horrible thing by choosing a game featuring a character whose design is just so *complicated and difficult* to reproduce. Ease up on the artists, okay?
