  1. lolz, i r funny[/sarcasm]
  2. Indeed, I forgot how monotonous PokéMon can get. How did I manage to get a complete team of lvl. 100 PokéMon in Red, back in the day!?
  3. God dammit! I hate the bitch Bertha's damn Quagsire! Protect and double team, protect and double team, protect and double team...that's all the fucking thing will do! I can't land a single hit on it with anything!
  4. The only problems I find are 1. Whenever I click the link to the store, it says there are no products matching the description of "ocremix," so you have to research for "overclocked." Not a big problem, at all, but could be easily fixed. 2. The perpetual lack of medium hoodies.
  5. So it seems there is a variety of infrared.
  6. I suppose that fact would make the current system not very good as a replacement for a Wacom when using Photoshop, as it would likely not be sensitive to the variable force of a touch.
  7. Was always a fan of Roller Coaster Tycoon series, the only good Tycoon game that I've ever played.
  8. Agreed. I mean, sure it's still early for this technology, at least in term of widespread marketing, but with time I'm certain that it'll improve and become more accepted and widely used. It just takes time for new (or "iterations of existing technology") to settle in and come into use. Like home PCs, even in the 80's when the PC was first really going into production and use, it was still a novelty for most people, and few could think to afford one. Take the IBM PC 8088, for example, in 1981. A new toy for the ages at the low cost of $3000 (over $7000 in todays money), but how many people did you know who had one sitting in their living rooms? Twenty six years later, we have three computers at home and I'm sure plenty of people here have more than that. And I'm sure that in less than a decade this technology could very well be as widespread as the LCD monitor or broadband is today (both of which also seemed out-of-reach just a few years ago).
  9. The words of one without high-speed internet?
  10. I know we've all seen concept videos of this kind of technology before, but it looks like Microsoft is pushing it to the next level by actually putting it into production this Winter. Microsoft Surface Probably going to cost a bundle, but it would still be the perfect system for use with Starcraft 2, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  11. Well...it's creative, I'll give it that. Stupid, but creative.
  12. Well they are from Hong Kong...so that explains a lot. Personally, I love the Wü logo.
  13. For the Wii enthusiast who has everything and still wants more accessories to make that playing experience extra realistic. Review. And the best part...they're compatible with the Wü, and here I thought there were no accessories for the Wü.
  14. The thing that gets me is the fact that Sapphire and Emerald are still $35! So a friend of mine is going to get Fire Red or Leaf Green, which are at about $20, as I recall. Also, the Union Room is absolutely worthless.
  15. A friend and I were talking the other day when we realized that Nintendo really pushed it with the marketing on D/P. I mean, considering that you can't come anywhere near getting all the pokemon without first buying all the previous GBA versions is a stroke of evil genius. And one that I'm likely to fall for, too.
  16. Man, I love the video for Antikythera Mechanism. This is similar to what I was envisioning for my Stolen Child photo series, but never was able to accomplish.
  17. Are GBA games allowed, or are we still focusing on DS and PSP for handhelds?
  18. Damn, I was just looking at BT's web site and tour info, seems they played at Park City on the 11th. Wish I had known.
  19. I'm pretty sure there already was a thread about it some time ago, pre-migration.
  20. I do have fond memories of getting the monthly Nintendo Power when I was younger (I still have all of them in my closet, issues 21 on through 130-something). The old ones are still fun to look through, but when I got three free issues earlier this year (for registering three Nintendo products) I was disappointed with the whole thing. I guess such things are best enjoyed as nostalgia. If it is true, then NP...I salute you!
  21. Florida, to New York, to Washington state, over a period of weeks? Damn, that's not a road trip, it's an epic! What's your general route?
