  1. I don't want to discourage you from getting a job or anything, but I figure you'd best be prepared... Confessions of a Game Store Clerk An interesting article, really.
  2. Wow, this is certainly one of the more beautiful pieces in OCR. I love the more intimate chamber music style, I hope to see more music in this style in the future! It is a bit on the short side, which makes me a little sad when the two minutes are up. Though a sweet two minutes they are. I hope to hear more from you Justus (is that pronounced "just-us" or like "you-stus," like on Courage the Cowardly Dog?).
  3. Welcome, but you may want to check this thread out. http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2070
  4. Also beware the small t-shirts. I'm not a big person and usually wear small shirts, but these smalls are indeed small. So unless you are a small small, or like wearing tight shirts (emo like) then I'd suggest going medium.
  5. I'd love to do a remix of Lucky K.K., from Animal Crossing: WW. A remix using the requisite instruments of Irish Traditional Music (whistles, bodhrán, uilleann pipes, etc). On second thought, would that even be a remix, or a cover?
  6. I accidentally deleted my "Recently Added" playlist in iTunes, does anyone know how do I go about getting it back?
  7. I have learned that buses and DS do not mix well.
  8. DrillDozer is pretty fun, though somehow my damn game got erased!
  9. It was sent by one "Kittie Corpse," zero posts, so I thing someone's trying to repopulate their forum.
  10. Hm, though I do agree that it is a good AMV, I also feel that imagery is a little to literal in its visualization of the lyrics, especially in the first third of the song. Personally, I'd prefer a somewhat more interpretive approach to it.
  11. I might look into a dual sport bike (a street legal dirt bike), for a first motorcycle. They're lighter than a Harley or another cruiser, more nimble, usually cheaper, and very durable (they are meant to also go off-road, after all). Plus, you can easily take it off-road onto trails and such, so you can double your fun. Maybe look for a used one in good condition for a starter.
  12. Anyone know of some good spoken word music? Kind of like Shael Riley's "Snow, Love, and Sludge" from Toybox, or James Yorkston's "Woozy with Cider?" I've been looking around, but have no clue where to start.
  13. This is one of my all-time faves! also awesome: This one's fun As is this one: Azumanga Dai-Oh AMV
  14. I still have every issue of NP I ever got, from Mega Man 3 (#21) through to sometime in '97 or '98 (kinda spotty, but they're still all in my closet).
  15. Wow, out of how many? Time sure flies when you forget a project exists.
  16. Is there any way that one could easily install a program (like ICQ), but somehow hide/remove the add/remove icon from the add/remove window? My friend's parents won't let her install any IM programs because the insist that they slow the computer to the point of death (yeah, they're kinda dumb). They even go so far as to regularly check her add/remove to look for new programs. So I'm trying to help her by hiding the program, which is easy for the most part, except the add/remove thing. Any ideas?
  17. It's free advertising for the companies, composers, and publishers. I never would have thought to go out and buy a game OST or its related game before I found OCR. Helps them make money.
