  1. Well lately I can see that Gray has been really busy pumping out remixes, and I'm really happy about it! He's a great composer who I've actually been getting to know pretty well, and his personality shines as much as his music does. When I listen to this I feel as if I'm drifting away into the clouds. ^^ It's really nice, and apparently I'm the first to comment on it O_O! I heard right away from him and decided to come check it out. This is pretty good stuff to listen to late at night, just close your eyes and listen.
  2. As I listened this, suddenly I was time warped back to the 80's. Then the style started to change and became more modern and started to sound more like the 90's. This definitely gave me a feel of nostalgia as DJP said in the description of the official post. There just isn't enough Xenogears remixes, but this is an excellent addition to my current list of them. Thank you Suzumebachi, for submitting this. Especially to the judges for passing this beautiful piece of work.
  3. Wow.. I just don't know what to say. I closed my eyes and listened throughout the entire piece, and felt myself flowing through the Lifestream myself. I really appreciate collaborative efforts, and hearing the styles of every composer shine through in one golden piece of work. This is what should replace the REAL Lifestream theme in FF7. !!
  4. Hum.. This isn't bad at all. Bear with me because I'm half asleep here, it's 1:35 AM right now but I felt like checking OCR to see the new stuff. I really love the guitar work and the guitar bassline work that was done in this Joe. I really hope that someday I can learn how to make an arrangement that sounds anything CLOSE to this. Once again, great work, I'm jealous.
  5. I can remember when you were first working on this Jared.. I liked it then, and I like it even more now. This was incredible work - But I agree with DJP. It's not as memorable and emotive as the other pieces you've done.. But hey, you can't win 'em all I guess.
  6. This has to be the most incredible piece of work to hit OCR in GOD KNOWS HOW LONG. ..This is the kind of music I look forward to hearing, but never quite see on the site.. Very good work Jeremy Robson, VERY, VERY good work. This was a masterful piece of work, and I simply cannot put any more hype behind it.. You just need to hear it for yourself, this is GODLY. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. I didn't recognize what this remix was until about 1:00 into the song, then I realized it was one of the most interesting pieces from FF7. Wow, I really like this one. Nothing too extravagent to say about it though, nothing that really catches my attention in any way.. Nice choice of music though!
  8. Hey guys, I have a question about my FruityLoops Soundfont Player. It seems that whenever I try to load a soundfont into it, it gives me an access violation from the module Fruity soundfont player.dll. Does anyone know what the problem is?
  9. Hey djp, as I listened to this I felt as if I had been timewarped back to the 70's where the jazz flowed like wine and cheap beer. I really liked the original Booster Tower theme, and this is just an excellent addition to OCR. #1000 was a success as far as I'm concerned, wouldn't expect any less from you.
  10. Hmm, this song is pretty nice, although it didn't really move me at all, it doesn't stand out in any kind of special way.. I suppose others would like this piece more than I do... *shrug* Well, download it and check it out for yourself, eh? But now that I think about it, the piano arrangement was very nice and made this song worth the listening.
  11. I know I'm not silent, but I know I would LOVE to see that happen, man!
  12. Hey Dale! I'm glad you decided to submit your works to OCR as well, finally, we're on the way to even more musical delight.
  13. This beautiful piece of work is definitely up there with Starblaze's Incredible Singing Robot.. but I still think that the robot is much better. Being an advanced choir student, there is still a lot you can learn about singing silent, I'm not saying you did a bad job or anything, you did a wonderful job.. But you can improve your singing the more you practice. I hope that you'll keep it up and learn to improve, I look forward to seeing more arrangements from you.
  14. SPOILER ALERT!!!! You know.. I was thinking. Maybe with the death of Rachel, Celes was the "gift" or so to speak, to Locke. Although it was a very sad event, I suddenly now believe that Rachel, in a sense, lives on in the heart of Celes.. Because she loves Locke, you know? Just something to think about..
  15. I've heard this song develop as Starblast worked on it, and ever since the very first version of this song, I have LOVED it, absolutely adored it. I even talk to him myself for a while about it, because I was so anxious to learn more about the song. This is fabulous work, there is nothing more that I can say other than the fact that I worship the song, and that I'll be looking forward to more of his work such as this. Holy crap.. I didn't realize I made that typo Starblast, sorry!! ^^;
  16. This track was definitely very hypnotic, although I had a tough time trying to figure out what song this was. As I listen to it, it doesn't sound familiar until around 0:40.. I think that this song is overmixed though. Good work, but this song's been done too much, you know?
  17. I think you did a great job on this mv, this is another song I can add to the "kick back and chill" playlist of mine.
  18. Indeed this thread should be a sticky..
  19. Hmm, it sounds pretty catchy at times, but I don't think Kefka's theme should ever be remixed in such a way. It's not a very good song to remix I guess, as it didn't really catch my attention very much in any way. I'm sorry.
  20. There's a part in the beginning that sounds a lot like the song "Let Me Fall".. Not sure who it's by though, since I've only recently heard it at a choir performance at my school. Anyway, the violins were really catchy in this mix. All I have to say is that I love this, brings back great memories of Secret of Mana, and the Ice Land.
  21. The very beginning caught me by suprise, but I have to say I love this remix, and I agree with the person above. This IS the best FF9 remix I've heard on OCR so far, and I love the oldschool sound as well. It brings back some fond memories of FF9 and the older FFs in the series. I also love how the song stays true to the original. *Sigh* Don't you just love nostalgia? Anyway, really great stuff here.. I'd recommend it to anyone!
  22. The beginning of the remix is extremely hard on the ears if you're wearing headphones.. Oww..
  23. Wow, this was done really well. I really like Guile's theme, and this compliments the song entirely in every way. Very good job!!
  24. I've had this remix for quite some time now, and I'm suprised I never even commented on it. This is definitely some good stuff to zone out to, it brings back the fondest of memories of this game. Ziwtra definitely has some excellent talent, keep it up.
  25. Lately there hasn't been too many really good remixes. I don't know if they're just bad, or maybe I haven't really even played most of the new remixes being posted lately. But wow, this one turned out really good. I'm sure everyone has fond memories of FF7, and I definitely do, but mostly of this song. Mazedude did a great job on this theme, gotta love those Ancients.
