  1. So far I don't hear anything that sounds like Chrono Trigger.. It's all Cid's theme from FF7. Edit: Nevermind, I tend to comment too soon then I realize how horribly wrong I was.
  2. This is my first time listening to it, I'm only at 1:40 and so far I'm very amazed about how professional and how beautiful this trip-hoppish tune is. It's definitely something OCR doesn't have too much of (trip-hop), and I personally would like to see more of it. Great job Ben, Bravo. Keep them coming! Random thought: Someone needs to make some Grandia 2 ReMixes, too.
  3. Hey hey! This is a good song, I love how well done this mix was. There's some parts where he butchers the song and that hurts its overall quality. It's not too bad though, but noticable. The variation of instruments is good too, maybe someone should make another mix of this and change it up a bit to make a mix of this song better?
  4. Well, it turned out pretty good in my opinion.. Slow at first, but then it progresses naturally as most techno does, then it becomes very catchy and upbeat. I dig. I'm having a hard time remembering the original version of this song though, hm. Anywho, the remixes have been slow lately, as far as video games that I've actually played. Come on people, make more remixes.. I'm bored.
  5. You're so right. This game deserves so much more than its credited. Someone, for the love of great music, please do more Wild Arms remixes.
  6. This remix is INSANELY beautiful.. Dale North and Jaxx, I always wondered what would happen if these two musical geniuses worked together could accomplish, and now I've seen it. I can die a very, very happy man.. Seeing as they remixed my favorite song from Wild Arms, and did such a beautiful job in doing so. I love you all.
  7. I believe this song would most likely make him cry.. I mean, come on. Knowing that so many people all over the entire world, wanting to idolize and perfect your sound..
  8. This song starts off very slow at first.. But I ended up having goosebumps at about 3:00 into the song.. The part where the song begins to pick up is my favorite part, I remember having the original song, and skipping straight to that part, oh, the joy.. This is definitely a song I wouldn't mind seeing more remixes of.. Keep em coming! Edit: I am also a very big fan of Kefka's theme, as you may have already noticed.. I always hoped that OCR would get some remixes of Dacing Mad, and I hope that more come in soon..
  9. You know, there are a lot more Squaresoft works of art that we simply don't know about, the ones that never made it to our shores. There are quite a few good games, too. I've seen some translating groups working on those games, so hopefully soon we'll at least get to check them out, in english.
  10. This song blew me away completely. I'm getting used to Dale's extraordinary talents, so much that he's starting to spoil me (and probably most of us) with how well done his work is. I had this on loop for a long time the past few days, and I have to say it's quite amazing work. Keep it up Dale, keep submitting your excellent work!!
  11. I thought this mix was interesting, quite a fun change of pace for OCR. I'd like to see more Celtic music
  12. Hahaha! Now, this is was an INTERESTING track! This is one of the most creative songs I've heard since Team Gato's stuff. You gotta love that cell phone and it's cute little melody that goes along with the battle theme. I dig~
  13. I don't care what DJ Pretzel says about this piece not being very "innovative," because I believe this is excellent work. It's a theme that hasn't been played out, stomped on, tore to pieces, and put back together again only a thousand times like Schala's Theme. Due to all of the Schala remixes I've actually grown to hate them, there's just too many. Anywho, Klutz has never let me down when it came to remixes like many others of his skill level, and I hope to see more from him.
  14. You know, I definitely had a gut feeling that this was too.. MIDI-ish. I was right, Wingroove does rock though, I really miss that program
  15. I was amazed by how well performed this was, even though the 'glitches' or so to speak, could've been avoided. But hey, there's no such thing as perfection after all. REALLY nice work though, it has me in awe.
  16. Yeah.. This song definitely needs to variate a bit sooner, that repetitiveness lasts for almost an entire minute and drives me to almost stop the song. Wooh. It gets REALLY good later on though. Gravity Beetle's theme was my favorite theme from X3. Another thing though, after you listen to it a few times you don't really notice the lack of the progression in the beginning and you won't really seem to care. DJ Terra, you rule. Great work! Why isn't there more people making tracks like this!?
  17. You know, I kinda liked this song a lot, it was something new. But, I really wanted to hear a version of it that had a more hip-hop beat to it, and with lyrics if possible. DJ Crono's been spoiling us with those lyrics, I tell ya.
  18. The reverb should be decreased in volume I think, but this mix is very very relaxing, I love it. I could listen to this all day if I had the chance to. I kinda like the voices in the tune too, but it should be more repetitive, since it only appears twice near the end. Not bad though, this is still some really awesome work. And by the way, I'll be sure to check out Bob's Pizza.
  19. Wow, this is kind of stuff I really like to see more on OCR, especially Metal Man. He was my favorite robot in the entire series for some reason, his level is fun. Anyway, very well done Dan, I really dig the progressive techno/trance/dance stuff.
  20. Werd to DJ Crono for doing yet another excellent job. Hey man, was it me who asked you to do more Wild Arms remixes? I've been asking several people about them, and even decided to work on a few of my own as well. Those're in the works also
  21. Geez, that sure is overpowering at times! Although it's a nice melody, I think my headphones are having a heart attack now because of it. Good work though, just next time.. Don't overdo the distortion!
  22. Wow. Excellent work. I REALLY want to hear more Lufia remixes, this game is highly overlooked when it comes to them, and that bothers me. The Lufia series is very well done as far as music, so even if you dislike the game, at least give the musical scores a chance.
  23. Y'know, I really love remixes that sound peaceful, such as this one. I really believe Kaijin has the whole orchestral part down, and I really enjoy his work also. Very well done, the peaceful serene sound is really great, man. Keep up the great work. Nice fade out at the end, too. Makes for great looping material!
  24. I really think this piece is mediocre compared to some songs from this game that could be ReMixed extremely well.. No offense to the DJ, but I know you can ReMix another song that sounds so much better than this did. This was an odd song to ReMix, but of course, if it weren't for daring people like you, this world would be such a boring place.
  25. Wow, I really liked this one, it's really upbeat at first as the description says, but it has a very positive sound. I love it.
