There's less hard feelings when people don't know who voted for who. Anonymity also keeps people from changing their votes dependant on others' votes. There probably wouldn't be much of those things here anyway, but better safe than sorry.

Good job, everyone, for getting your stories out on time (Come on G_D!). All the ones I've read so far are really well written. I swear I could do better on mine if I didn't always have school looming over me.

I'm finally done. So here's my story: The Genetic Chic

I'm pretty much in the same boat as GA Jedi Knight, but I'm working on the story right now and it's about half-way done, so I'll most likely be able to finish it in time.

I think there's something about Spring, though- Teachers rush to get certain assignments in before the end and decide that its time to assign end of the year projects. Pretty soon we're all swamped.

First to post this. Oh, and happy birthday too.

We'll see. I've started working on mine this morning so I may be able to get it out without an extension.

I have an idea for a story to write, but I also have 2 research papers to pump out in the next couple weeks, so I can't make any promises.

Well, I can't find my CD anywhere. I have my Diablo and Diablo II CDs, but the expansion CD has thus far eluded. So, I guess you can count me out for now.

Hm, maybe I'll start up a new character. School is taking up like 90% of my time right now, but something has to fill that 10% void that's left. If I do play, my character name will be barnsalot44 (unless that's already taken, which would be ludicrous). I don't know what class I'll play. Edit: I'm still trying to find my CD. I'll tell you my account name when I've got that.

Nobuo worked on Final Fantasy 1-10, Chrono Trigger (with Yasunori Mitsuda), and a few other small projects. I've yet to find a song of his that has not impressed me. While Final Fantasy X is probably the best quality work he's done (because the PS2 has a greater audio capacity than earlier systems), it is doubtful that you will find any of his earlier work displeasing. I encourage you to check more of his stuff out.

I like the arrangement and it does have a nice Latin feel to it, BUT it doesn't really hold my attention very well. The song doesn't, to me, quite seem 'in-your-face' enough, and a good bit of the samples sound overly fake to me. I'm no musician, but my advice would be to look into your samples and see if you can, anywhere, add a little bit more POW to the whole thing.

Congratulations, guys, and thanks for the criticisms, Zeality. I really didn't spend much time on my story- Kinda rushed it out which I shouldn't have done... And, no, it had neither a theme nor a point. I'll spend more time on the next one. I don't know about splitting the competitions up. We don't get many entries as it is, and if we split them apart each compo would only concern 3 or 4 people at most. But, I could be wrong. Just do what seems best.

I think it's on the right track, but it could do with a little improvement. It's rather repetitive, but I don't really mind that so much as I do a few of the notes that seem to be wrong/off. I wish Rama would come back and update this because I think he could make it a whole lot better.

Ipods like getting broken. Almost everyone I know that owns one has a problem with it that shouldn't be there. For example: my Ipod nano likes to reject every tenth (or so) song I put on it. That certain song just breaks and won't work until I re-upload it. Even then it may not work. I don't know what Apple's repair service is like, though. ;/

I think the fighting game makers are just going to try to make bouncier boobs to try to beat the competition from here on out. Sex sells apparently.

My phone's pretty cheap (like 10 or 15 dollars) and it doesn't handle the new-fangled ringtones very well. It does have a composer built into it, though, and I've been meaning to write in the Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare. But, I don't get any calls anyway. So maybe it's not worth the trouble.

I suppose I'll be the first to recommend A Song of Ice and Fire. If you're not into series, Dying of the Light is some pretty darn good science fiction in under 400 pages. They're both by George R.R. Martin.
