A couple things. First, thank you sir for the compliment. Jet is NARROWLY my second favorite character in the series. Your sig made me and a co-worker lol pretty hard. Secondly, Nintendo has a controlling portion of NamcoBandai's stock, so a Soul Calibur character isn't out of the question, especially after Link having been in SC2. Granted, it wouldn't really qualify as a western-produced character, but I would love to wreck somebody's world with Astaroth or Nightmare.

Thank you. They are freaking genius. There's a lot of metal going down here, so I'll leave off my suggestions there for now. We need some more classical in this piece, so I'll go ahead and recommend Rachmoninoff in a big way. My second or third favorite composer (and one of my favorite pianists) in my favorite genre of music, next to maybe Chopin and Beethoven. Amy Winehouse; very catchy jazz riffs backed up by her sultry and unique voice. Guster; amazing musicians who do some interesting and actually good pop rock. Killswitch Engage; yes, they're metal, but they deserve special mention because they're amazing and do LOVE metal, of all things. Atmosphere; the MC, Slug, has amazing flow and lyrical ability and raps about stuff that's not guns and bitchs. Scratch Track; acoustic emo rap. You read that right. Actually not really emo, just once again not talking about bling bling and such. That's a pretty decent start from my list of favorites.

Yeah, the song selection tends to lean pretty heavily towards good drum songs. Actually, when I was playing I had some interference from my friend's sound system right in front of my mic, so it might be easier than I remember.

Eh, my experience with the vocals was that it was easy when I knew the song, and usually pretty hard if I didn't. Not terribly surprising, really. Boston does indeed rock, so that was a lot of fun. As for the guitar parts, they're on the whole a bit easier. There's a few which are still pretty challenging, but the game isn't so much about the single-player aspect for any of the instruments.

Virt and company jamming out some chiptunes? Sounds fairly baller. As for the hotel jam idea from good sir Will; that also strikes the ear as awesome. You got me, prophet, and Sammy playing hand drums so I think rhythm is covered. Maybe we could do "Tank!" (the Cowboy Bebop theme) and I could not play bongos on my thighs.

Needless to say, I'm WTFPumped. Now if I could only straighten out how I'm going to get there... Don't worry guys, me and my beard will be there one way or the other.

I almost agree with you completely. Having done kenjitsu, I can tell you that I happen to love going after people's hands, one of the three striking points in kendo. Now as for stabbing somebody in the chest, it sounds brutal, but that's actually pretty silly. As for self-defense aspects of weapons trainings, my favorite anecdote I experienced personally. Buying breakboards for one of my tests one day, the guy at the hardware store recognized my request for what it was. He trained in a karate dojo, and they focused mainly on point sparring, so when I mentioned that we did kobudo (Okinawan and Japanese weapons,) he remarked about how you couldn't really use that stuff in real life. Ironically enough, he had a four foot closet dowel in the cart he had been pushing, with which I immediately started performing a jo kata. The dowel is still my jo today. You'd be surprised how often you can find improvised weapons, and obviously that can make a huge difference in a fight.

Definitely still going, definitely still bringing my djimbe (though unfortunately I won't be able to buy my congas until January ,) and I just got a tiny little ocarina for Xmas. This is gonna be straight baller. Oh yeah, and I can sing an okay tenor.

Yeah, it's really unfortunate, but this is America, after all. If doing something will get you a dime, this is the country in which to do it. Still, it's a shame that TKD's previously good name has been marred by so many McDojangs. Traditional TKD has a lot of powerful strikes. If nothing else, it makes explaining my art (Tang Soo Do, another Korean art with many similarities to traditional Tae Kwon Do) more difficult, as I have to emphasize that my school is not competitive and self-defense based. It is that. My sahbohmnim did Hung Gar for a few years, and I've seen some of their stuff. Very flashy. It does have some powerful techniques, though. Getting hit with a double rising palm heel strike is pretty freaking harsh.

Yeahhhh...Batman is my favorite superhero, and Batman Begins is on my top ten movies list. I'm a little bit excited about the Dark Knight. I gotta admit, I was worried about Heath Ledger, but he even does a pretty good voice for the Joker. Not quite Mark Hamill, but hey, not everyone can be a Jedi Master.
