  1. Ah, it's no problem. Just givin' out an opinion, that's all. xP
  2. Audition track? If you want to hear some of my work, I got WIPs all over the place in this section. xP Well...more like one WIP and 3 completed. But who cares? But sure, I'll do it. I've always wanted to remix stuff from Gunstar Heroes.
  3. This is probably a really stupid question, but do the games have to be extremely well-known? Because if not, I wouldn't mind contributing some Brave Fencer Musashi stuff. The Boss themes in that game are amazing...atleast in my opinion. :3 EDIT: Oi, read the first post wrong. Uh...lets see, I wouldn't mind trying out the Gunstar Hero's track. I loved that game since I was...uh, younger. I even still play it.
  4. Woah, something different than a MML remix? COULD IT BE?! Well, of course. I love the Legends series, but that won't stop be from remixing other game music. *Hints towards a Brave Fencer Musashi remix* Anywho, I read somewhere that someone thought that a lot of Song of Storm remixes were poppin' up. Oh well, I made this a month or two ago and can't figure out how to finish it. x.x ~Things I'm aware of~ Crappy Soundfonts ...That's about it really. And without any more delay, here's the link to listen to the remix. http://media.putfile.com/Song-of-Lonely-Storms-WIP
  5. I didn't mean add more... (or atleast a whole lot). Just make it bigger, louder, more forceful if this is making any sense... xD
  6. Well...it shouldn't be 6 and a half minutes long. Entirely too long for this track. Lots of dead spots where you sort of just drop everything but the bass parts. Not alot of variety, either. I mean, the bass is pretty much the same throughout the entire track, the leads are somewhat nice, but nothing impressive. My opinion? Shorten the song to about 4 minutes, add more variety with the bass, drums and leads. And add some sort of strings in the back ground. Because right now, it's not worth listening to for 6 and a half minutes. Sorry if that seemed a little harsh. But, it's probably about 2 Stars right now. x.x
  7. Hm, I don't really know what to say. I'm not a stickler for quality (though I should be). I figure, if it fits the mood and style of the song, then it's fine. Other than that, I think it could use some more "drive." And make the ending bigger. Make us feel like it's really the end and you're going to give us all the emotion in the song at the same time. I think that'd make this remix pretty friggin' good. :3
  8. Hm, well...I really like it. Only problem for me is that it gets old too fast. I don't know if this has been said (didn't read the other posts), but it needs more originality. Yeah, it's a trance remix...but it's pretty much just the same thing over and over again. I realize that that's pretty much the point of Trance and Techno stuff. But that doesn't mean you can't add your own ideas into the mix. I think it'd do this remix some real justice if you did more with it, musically (this coming from a guy who pretty much turns any remix he does into something almost different). I don't know, that's just my opinion. I might just be too picky about that sort of thing. But none-the-less, it's a great remix. ^^
  9. Well...hm. It's nice, but it needs more "Zazz." I think if you added some very simple, but heavy drum beats to it with some reverb, it'd add to the "emotion" of the track. And as someone else said, it just "plods" along. It needs some life. So give it life man. LIFE!! >.> Anyways, I'll agree that it's a good foundation for a very good remix. So work on it some more, I'm sure you'll make it better than it is now. :3
  10. Ha, I suppose I'm the only one on this site trying to remix the Mega Man Legends stuff. But that's a good thing, I'll be known for it until someone else comes along and one-ups me on it all. XD Anyways, I figured that I'd remix something that no one would think to remix. If any of you have played the first Mega Man Legends, then you might remember the little music shop. There was this pretty cool Heavy Metal track that you could listen to. Well, that's just a small track that really has nothing to do with the game. Why would anyone remix it? No clue, but I did. Click here to download Yes yes, the usual stuff as in the soundfonts being too crappy, blah blah blah. Lets get some actual musical advise, rather than quality. Now, as for the remix. I wanted to keep the metal influences, but ya know...make it my own. The leads are pretty much mine, but the third solo (if you want to call it that) is the actual solo from the track. I felt like I needed to throw it in so that the track would be recognizable.
  11. Well, I appreciate your opinions. I was a bit ify about this remix anyways, so perhaps I oughta work on it a little more. ^^
  12. Yeah, I'm likin' this remix. I've tried making a remix or two sounding like something from the 80's, but I haven't gotten it yet. Do you use soundfonts? Or do you actually have deecnt equipment to use (unlike me)? >.>
  13. Oo, damn Eric. That was harsh. XD Anyways, I'll have to agree with Eric. It's not very good. >.>
  14. Ah yes, Vgmix.com. How I miss that place. But I agree, a lot of my previous stuff wasn't too great in quality. Good ideas, but lack of quality to help them out.
  15. Ooo, Xenogears. I love that game. Perhaps I'll help out with the project, though I don't know where I stand from a remix point of view. I don't know if I'm good enough or not. ^^;
  16. Hm, for some reason...it seems like you should strum with some reggae influence. I think that would help out a lot with your playing and help you develope new ideas for where the song should go. Give it a try. So far, though...you've got a long way to go. And good luck with learning the guitar. ^^
  17. Ah yes, another Legends remix...by me (yeah, I've got a few ^^; ). Anyways, this is a metal-ish remix of the "Bonne Siege" track (the part in the game where you're fighting the three Servbots (Kobuns) to get the key that leads to City Hall). Click here to download. As I've experienced with "Dashe's Flying Thing," I realize that the soundfonts are of poor-ish quality. Enjoy! ^^
  18. Hm, that's a different theme in it's own, really. The track I remixed wasn't the fight against their main ship (the Gesellschaft). The track I remixed was with the Fockewolf. Click here to download the mp3 (Tron's Fockewolf). And speaking of better quality soundfonts. Anyone know where I can get some for free?
  19. Yeeeah, that could've been a lot better. The sound clips for the voices are overused and, although I liked the NES feel to it, you could've driven away from it at some point in the song to enhance it. Overall, nice try...but try again.
  20. Awesome, glad to see that my remix isn't too bad (other than the crappy soundfonts I have). ^^;
  21. Yeah, I kinda figured that sort of response. The good soundfonts cost money. T_T Uh, it's the aerial fight in the first Legends. After you defeat their main ship, Tron commands that pink flying thing and that's when the track kicks in. Glad to know that there are other Legends fans. ^^;
  22. Well, this is hopefully going to be the first remix I submit to OCR. The title is for a friend, since she kept bugging me to remix this track. But before I try and submit it, I'd like to know if it's OCR "quality." I'm not a rich SOB, so I have to rely on free software and free soundfonts to make my remixes. x.x Anyways, here's a link to the download. Click Here! And besides, it seems to me that I'd be the first to submit a Mega Man Legends remix. OMG! A first! xP
