Alright, I really want to get back in on this. I'm fully operational and ready to let loose. So...what tracks are left for remixing? I don't know if the list on the first post was updated or not.

Can you tell like I like to multi-task with remixing yet? Anyways, 4 Wips from 4 different games. I've ignored them for too long, so it's time to pull them out from the closet. lol, might help me out if I knew which Legends remix you heard. xD But thanks. I'll try and tweek the guitar's tone a little, but it's probably just gonna be replaced with another intstrument, unfortunately. I had to give back the bass and guitar I was borrowing from a friend, so no more live recording for awhile. And that's why I made this thread, to figure out what direction I should take the track. It's a little hard to come up with by myself because I don't want to ruin the originals simplistic awesomeness.

Well, I listened to whatever it was you posted in the very first post. And to be perfectly, there is absolutely nothing special about that track...at all. It's just...not good. Sounds like something that would be in a very poorly made fan-game of Mario or something. Just very boring to listen to. Nothing changes at all. So, I don't know what to tell you to make it better. But, uh...good luck. >.>

To be honest, the track I'm posting is for a friends fan-game, but I'll be using it further to make a remix. I'm just wondering where I should take this piece. It's kind of hard to decide because the original is really good (in my opinion), so that makes it harder to come up with original stuff in fear of ruining the awesomeness of the original. http://media.putfile.com/Dragon-Roost-Island-Concept I realize that some of the instruments sound midi-ish. Just think of them as place-holders until I can figure out what kind of instrumentation I really want. Uh...I'm playing the bass in this and the lead guitar at the half-way-ish point. Of course, I'm not a master of either instrument (and forgive my lead guitar stuff, my fingers were really sore after playing the bass part for almost 3 hours straight). So, uh...have a listen and enjoy.

Yeah, I'm not much of a drummer, so I usually just come up with something basic and throw it in. But yeah, I'll change around the drums (especially the hi-hat) 'n what not, just to liven 'em up a bit. 1998 Top 10 Emotive? Uh, well...sure. I mean, I don't usually keep up with Genre's or anything. I just wanted an ending that could loop, but not get old really fast. Ya know, just something to fade-out on. But yeah, thanks for your comments, Altus.

Malice: You trying to give me Remixing tips? xDDDD Nah, don't worry man. I only had enough time to work with the original track, made it how I wanted to sound...and then went to sleep. Once I get another chance to work on it, you better believe that your socks will be knocked off. I always do unexpected stuff for my remixes. And, not to sound like a jerk, but what I'm doing is what remixing is all about. Some of the stuff I hear on this site isn't...a true remix, imo. Not saying anything about your stuff, though. I haven't heard anything of yours. Ranger: Ending? I'm not that far yet. I'm not even close to being finished with this remix. So, uh...yeeeeah. xD

Damn, I was hoping the rpg guy would be slacking with the Saturos battle. That's a fun track. But ah well. >.>

Bwahaha! Finally a change, eh? Anyways, I really loved this track in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Unfortunately, I stayed up 3 hours later than I normally do to work on it. So, right now...it's just the original track...with a hint of Dash-ism. Personally, I think it's a really cool remix so far in terms of actually doing something with the original. Well, like I said before, I'd love to Collab, but my computer doesn't have internet. Also, I usually don't know when I'll be able to get online, so I wouldn't want that to slow you down, atleast. I'll go solo, but I probably won't submit it to this project. You made the MIDI, you probably have some of the remix going. I'll just let you have it. Me? I've always wanted to remix some Gunstar Heroes music on my own. By the way, Pi...were there any tracks that weren't taken already? I don't mind taking a leftover. :3

Ah, money. Horrible for me. I have to use soundfonts I can find online. They're not the best, but it's better than what FL Studio offers, atleast.

I wouldn't mine collaborating, but the problem with that is that I don't have the internet at my house (I'm currently at my sisters). And besides that, I'm using FL Studio 4.5.2. >.>

Oi, I think I'll have to give up my previous request to join this thing. Golden Silver's Theme is too hard to figure for me and I haven't had the time to sit down and actually work on anything for awhile. Makes me sad, really. :\
