Alright, so, now that things are winding down, I'm getting ready for the physical release. As of right now, it is planned that I will be ordering a bunch of physicals, consisting of a double disc version of the project (no bonus disc), including most (if not all) of the art as an insert book.
I'm looking to gather about $1000 to completely pay for this batch. NONE of this money will go into anyone's pocket: I will raise money until we hit the desired amount. If I don't hit it, some way will be found to pay it off (probably out of pocket). If I do gather that much, great. Any additional money I would possibly get OVER the price of the physical distribution will be put towards the cost of shipping copies out. If I gain enough to cover all shipping and STILL have money left over, the rest will be donated directly to OC ReMix.
Let me just clarify something about the project: The music IS being released on July 5th for free to everyone over the internet, via torrent and a website with download links. The website will distribute mp3s while the torrent includes mp3s plus FLAC. The artwork will also be available online through the torrent and the website. The donation is open to anyone who wants to give, and there's that minimum amount if they wanted to get one of the physical copies as a bonus. The donations are strictly to fund the physical printing, no more no less. Nobody is getting paid for this project: not me, not the musicians, not the artists, not the website designers, nobody.
If you donate $25 or more, you will get a copy of the physical release! Donations are going to be cut off on April 1st of this year!

Well the final deadline for volume 1 is the end of february, so I think you'll have to hold it for volume 2. That doesn't mean you can't work on it of course. Send me or Joker a wip and if we like it, you're in.

What we have in store, and why we are currently in a lull. After episode 50, we are probably going to begin taking on returning guests. Will begin that endeavor after our potential server move (don't worry, Sephfire, you'll get your chance to berate us with more songs what need remixing).

Bio
Anything is possible in dreams. NiGHTS is a resident of the dream world Nightopia, where it spends time playfully flying through the air, performing acrobatics, and playing an invisible flute. When some of the children of Twin Seeds go to sleep and slip into nightmares, they escape into the world of Nightopia and find NiGHTS for the first time.
Originally a creation of the ruler of realm of Nightmare, Wizeman, NiGHTS is a 1st Level Nightmaren. NiGHTS rebelled against Wizeman after he tried to take over Nightopia, and was imprisoned inside the Ideya Palace as a result. Upon dualizing with dreamers who come into contact with NiGHTS, it breaks free and regains the ability to fly and perform tricks. With the help of these dreamers, NiGHTS fights against Wizeman and his henchmen for the freedom of Nightopia.
NiGHTS is a genderless being who's appearance and abilities can change depending on a given situation, such as a bobsled in a snow area and a dolphin when underwater. While usually kind and chivalrous, NiGHTS is also a bit of a prankster, playing jokes and scaring people. NiGHTS also has a complicated relationship with the other 1st Level Nightmaren, Reala, who's abilities are nearly identical to NiGHTS. While NiGHTS is curious and playful, Reala is cold and obedient, never questioning Wizeman's orders to imprison NiGHTS and capture Nightopia.
Will NiGHTS be able to stop Wizeman from taking over the dream world?

So...beta invite?I don't think it's the beta access that will be given. Like, amongst the first people to get the demo, I think, was what was given away on Steam/with the Borderlands GOTY edition. I recall them saying somewhere that as a release date gets finalized, that's when they'd be focusing on pumping out a demo. Here's hoping it is some time in February. I'll be watching my Steam like a hawk until then.
Gotta say, the trailer was impressive, considering that it was made up of some very self-referential humor. I'm glad the current handlers understand what Duke is thought of as these days, and from what I can see, they're going to hit the mark with keeping him "cool" for the 10's. (The 10's does not have the same ring as the 90's does. I'll never get used to it, saying the 10's makes me feel like I should be driving around a Ford Model T on a dirt road in Sepia-tone-world)

I'd like to hear people make a ballroom style remix without an album, just because nobody does it.
Only one mix comes to mind and I'm not even sure if it could be considered ballroom remix. No moar projects but people, make moar genre-unique remixes. 
Okay, this I can totally agree with though. Ballroom music is very underrepresented in the community. Needs moar waltzing.
Also, post-mag-depression hit me this morning. Very, very hard.

I had an idea at work yesterday. If this happens, then there should be an OCR remix album that goes with it. Like, an album where all the remixes are done in a dinner party/ballroom style. Thoughts?
