  1. Great parody link Also, technically, Hemo is on the project, though not as a mixer.
  2. i have good inside info that someone on this site is remixing this.
  3. I'm going to agree with pretty much everyone here and say this track is a good reason why you should submit more frequently. Cool tightrope walking between something chill and something energetic, with good transitions between sections. I loved the synths chosen, and though i wish it'd get a bit more intense in a few sections, I can dig it.
  4. Jay would be the dude to ask for that specific track; it's his baby, i'm just the crazy uncle. We've got about 5 people recorded so far I think.
  5. Maybe it is true! That would be pretty cool, but I think DS might be a better platform? Maybe the non-overhead of downloading is a potential reason that this may work. A lot of progress on tracks has been made this week, and the website is starting to really come together. This is good stuff, people!
  6. I blame the jdgfgts knockin him down with NO RESUBS.
  7. i did some background pixel art for RPG maker 2003 for some guys- it never went anywhere, but it was fun. I wish I could find them- some I thought were pretty good.
  8. out of control < this thread I remember reading about the new turtles game last month in Nintendo power- looked pretty cool, and i'll check it out. I was a total turtle maniac when I was a kid. :3 I hope that it's more than just a brawl clone, because SSB does it so well, but we'll see.
  9. updated tracklist! Got a few cool potential bonus tracks lined up too!
  10. I'd love more info on play- it's been working great so far for me, though i've heard of issues on non macs. I also love the sound of Fender amps so the fender specific amplitude is also very interesting to me. BGC- does guitar center have any of these programs set up for playing around with? I'd love to hear it before I dropped cash on it, and the guitar staff at GC tends to make me never want to shop there unless I absolutely have to. Basically the infinite sustain guitar is for having super sustained melodic lines without the need for high gain or a huge delay loop. It'd be completely nuts with a slide I bet. Though the samples I heard were all pretty much straight clean tone, i'd love to hear it with a touch of gain and delay. Overall a lot of cool stuff, as per usual.
  11. Thanks for being a good friend. Happy birthday, I hope you have excellent adventures!
  12. omg apparently i missed some stuff. This thread just got like 100000x better. What a great song- but super great writing. thanks for posting the video. edit: hearing the actual track in non youtube format has changed my mind; not pitchshifted.
  13. Web site design is done (and probably my favorite design i've done to date), track progress is being made, things are looking good. All tracks are either going to be done soon or have a specific time line that's been planned out with me. I'm getting web text worked out with DA, and since the Tales site is done, it's time to start rocking this one out!
  14. My best find so far on Pandora is probably Tevin Campbell. Completely amazing vocalist- I grabbed his whole catalog after hearing just one track. Check that phrase at 3:00 and the note at 3:30. http://www.imeem.com/ernestj/video/0l3zjB0t/tevin_campbell_tell_me_what_you_want_me_to_do_live_music_v/ So Metal. \m/ PS. awesome posted track; totally grabbed it.
  15. Still very much awaiting you to learn to produce your arrangements yourself... still waiting... Ah, I kid. I love you, man. In a totally platonic way, of course. I wouldn't want Brad to get jealous...
  16. Nice haircut dude. Have a good weekend. Also, happy birthday.
  17. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obsessive-compulsive_disorder And it's not conducive to getting an exact balance. I'd say it's a bad idea.
  18. Hit me up on AIM or PM me- I might have some info that could help you out.
  19. Straight-ahead fun. It started out a bit slow, and I think it could have used a bit more depth of field, but otherwise this is a catchy and enjoyable mix. If you are feeling down at all, a few listens to this will definitely improve your mood.
  20. I'll echo the general reviews that the singer is a bit too buried for this to really shine, and i'm not digging the bass sound, but otherwise it's pretty effective, especially considering the date. The mix title is a bit silly. I think someone needs to record a metal version 'Eyes on Me (NotMetallica)'. Nice layered electro percussion and SFX, it's cool to hear how FFDJ's more recent stuff has evolved.
  21. Lovin' that bass, and some great funky rhythms. This is extra classy stuff, and the solos are nice. Solidly produced and smooth, even the fade out seems to work well. Good stuff, nice work, gents.
